Always happy to knock Trump, but it seems a difficult hard for a business to not accept any custom from foreign officials when it qualifies as standard retail business. It seems unlikely that monies spent would be so material as to influence the ultimate owner, who anyway is not actively running the business.

If I were a proven scammer I'd fight to have all of my financials kept secret, too.

I'm sure Trump's highly paid armies of lawyers, accountants and lobbyists have found ways to blur this and his other financial records, particularly those that might show he's sold condominium units and other properties to 'foreign buyers' for cash. That's been one of the main ways Trump's increased his wealth - while laundering moneys for 'foreign' gangsters, their co-workers in a 'foreign' intelligence agency, and their 'conservative' boss, who some say is the richest man in the world. Government service does pay - especially when you own the government. No wonder Trump wants to eliminate a free press where some might report his dirty businesses.

Gee, Don's having a tough week. They're probing, and eventually one will find a chink in his armor. This wouldn't matter if one had nothing to hide, of course....

Like what? I think the left Side THINK it’s important and for what? What’s the reason or purpose? How will it benefit the left? Will it help them like the President or sleep better?

Hmm. I dunno. A potential violation of the U.S. Constitution's emoluments clause?
Nothing a self pardon wouldn't fix, though. Therefore, it's not wrong.

Justice lawyers argued that the "public interest is decidedly in favor of a stay because any discovery would necessarily be a distraction to the President's performance of his constitutional duties."
First, Trump isn't performing his "constitutional duties" - he's mostly watching TV, tweeting, and playing golf on the taxpayer dime.
Second, if he had acted ethically, as have prior presidents, and put his business holdings into a blind trust, then he'd have no distractions because this case couldn't have happened. Bad decisions have, you know, bad consequences.
The Justice Dept is representing Trump rather than the US. Wake up .... Wake up please

Really? What evidence is there that the public support hiding possible illegal activities? As for it being a distraction, if distraction is a problem then ban Fox and Friends. As this train wreck of a presidency continues it is looking more and more like something from the late 1990's early 2000's Philippines. A would be dictator using his own Justice department to cover up his corruption. If there is nothing to hide, why hide it? Of all people Trump would surely not be distracted because he is a self declared "stable genius". Me thinks he doth protest to much. About just about everything. What a vile human being this man is.

...And at the same time, giving us tax cuts, appointing a conservative Supreme Court Justice to the bench and another one soon, got rid of regulations, lowered the unemployment record, got the remains back from our fallen soldiers from NK and on and on....dang the boy can multitask.

And all by himself! What a big boy he is. Two scoops of ice cream for this feller.

I agree.
