We voted a few weeks ago, not for ourselves. Not for Georgia, but for the USA. Actually voted differently in the run-off than in the November elections.

The "everyone is crooked" stereotype is as wrong as it is harmful. Yes, a lot of people get drunk on power and money (as would any other human, particularly those who accuse everyone else of being crooked), but that doesn't mean all politicians are only in it for their own interests.

Based on all the lies from the campaign ads, I'm comfortable calling the people running for US Senate in the Georgia runoff "crooks." If they weren't, they'd correct the lies not just against themselves, but against their opponent.
