While Sir Don Starmer valiantly sallies out to tilt at anti-semitic windmills in his party, he will do nothing to fight and defeat the real foes of democracy by removing the venom from the fangs of the English right-wing gutter press, whose daily doses of deadly poison have for decades infected the brains of the electorate and incapacitated rational thinking and public discourse. As a result, they got the wrong man in the wrong place at the wrong time: the hapless clown prince Boris and his clueless cohorts whose utter ineptitude dealing with a national emergency becomes manifest by the day to all with eyes to see and a brain to think.

With the exception of Japan, politics is typically cyclical. Times change, electorates change, national and world events change that will swing politics. I am still surprised that Republicans are able to win office in America given that the country has essentially evolved into a nanny state fully dependent on deficits to maintain their social programs and personal livelihood. This general national attitude is perfectly suitable for a Socialist political agenda. America will continue to move in that direction until the system collapses from the inherent instability of any socialized system of government that overextends.

It seems that as a Politician, when you raise concerns over Israel, then you have effectively signed an end to your Political Career.

I'm no fan of Corbyn, but there-again, I do not trust Politicians in general. As a person, however, he seemed to be a nice Guy - but again, I've never met him, so can't tell.

I think, the Labour Party, in order to Win, should focus not upon Foreign Relations, but those at home. This is after all, what it should be standing for... looking after the needs of the peoples of the UK. Get your own house in order before helping others, is a common statement within the UK, so why not take that up, and do it. Look inwards and address local racism with the UK first, then once thats been sorted, start looking outwards upon how the UK can help other nations. But as of right now... the UK needs more help internally than it should be providing externally.
