Has Kerry asked the Chinese to join this coalition?

@Serrano They're too busy planning diplomatic relations for the eventual ISIS state.

When Isis is inside Syria they are freedom fighter, when inside Iraq terrorist, the US Government really is a disgrace to the American people.

Unless Obama can get more than 37 countries to commit troops, he will be a failed unilateralist - by his standard anyway.

I expect we will be hearing many peaceniks chanting "No blood for oil", any minute now.

coalition = Britain joins and that's it. and even then it may not be Britain for much longer.........

More than 40 countries had already expressed willingness to support the coalition, she told reporters, declining to reveal all of them.

seems unlikely.

Sounds like 2003 being played all over again.

Deja vu.

Afghanistan: CIA: Taliban, Bin Laden

Iraq: CIA: Al Quaeda

Syria: CIA: Al Nusra ~> ISIS/ISIL

"US intervening to correct US last intervention, which was to make up for the intervention before that".

EXACTLY! Note that Obama never mentions Syria in his comments. Unsurprising, because he is STILL supporting those "vetted rebels" aka ISIS in Syria.

Meanwhile, ISIS affiliates are splashing in the pool of the dserted US embassy in Tripolis.... US failed policies are coming back to bite them in a major way.

You notice how those too busy bashing Obama haven't stated that they are against his calls to attack ISIS? Or are they pro-terrorist?

Well, smith, perhaps if Obama et al would stop creating monsters and arming both sides surreptitiously. Surely you're familiar with the adage that those who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

No, I think the terrorists on ALL sides are scum and support none of any. This level of threat has been fomented by decades of western meddling. Way to go, morons.

Smith: The GOP is all gung-ho to attack and destroy the ISIS - just not Obamesqeuly.

(As Obamesquiality requires thought before action, some are not accustomed to it - and others are viscerally averse.)

Laguna, I'll call that for what it is: BillShut.

Oh. So Obamas action to illegally bomb Libya on behalf of Al Quaeda and to support the so-called "vetted rebels" in Syria who then morph with ISIS at will was based on deep thought?

I want a glass of whatever you have been drinking.

Fact is, without Obamas support for Sunni islamists all across the region, we would not this mess with ISIS that we have now. "Obamesqueuly".... indeed.

Instead of acknowledging the dire straights the world is in can't we just do as the Left does and chant slogans like, 'The president is a war monger', 'Down with Amerikan imperialism', and 'No blood for oil'. That seems to work pretty well when there is a Republican president. Surely you've noticed the hypocrisy of Obama's evolving war on terrorism by now. Lately Biden's speeches have sounded more warlike than Cheney.
