Sander died in 10980? I always thought he passed on much earlier than that.

I once heard that Japanese law requires all food manufacturers to reveal the ingredients. If that is true, then the colonel's secret recipe of herbs and spices would not really be a secret in Japan.

I worked at KFC. In some countries, eg Australia, it is a law that all ingredients of a food product be displayed for the public. The secret herbs and spices are.... get ready for it...... 1.Salt,2.Pepper. Thats your '11' herbs and spices.

the actual recipe would include some surprises.

Some of us don't want 'surprises' in our food...

One ingredient in KFC that is no surprise and makes it inedible is bits of dead bird.

Colonel Harland Sanders’ handwritten recipe of 11 herbs and spices was removed Tuesday from safekeeping at KFC’s corporate offices for the first time in decades.

Just because the Colonel wrote something on a piece of paper does not mean it has any relation to what the part-time slave passed over the counter to you at KFC.

Want to buy fried chicken, go to KFCs or McDonald's outlets. Why,because it is there and easily available for meals.

To be honest I can get tastier fried chicken at my local combini(Circle K) and cheaper too.

Now how about the formula for the extract that they use to make coke?

Still wonder why the hell KFC in Japan don't sell Mash&Gravy, I love that stuff.

In 1975 Heublein Inc. unsuccessfully sued Sanders for libel after he publicly referred to their gravy as "sludge" with a "wallpaper taste". (Wiki)

What do you mean, Cleo, that's the second-best bit in there.

"National Treasure 3: Book of Secret Herbs and Spices," here we come!

They're auditioning William "Bubba" Cliton for the lead.

There is plenty of dihydrogen monoxide in there too. A lot of people don't even think about it.

"Japanese Karaage"

Talk about greasy ! The Japanese should try the "bucket" like the colonel does. it seperates th chicken and absorbs the oils. And oh yeh, Dave Thomas of Wendy's fame invented the "bucket" for Colonel Sanders.

Jamaican Jerk Chicken blow KFC away for flavour.

I gotta agree with you. Jerk Chicken is the bomb! KFC sucks everywhere, but at least they don't have chicken with heads in them, like this:

I suggest y'all watch what kind of "chicken" parts you be eatin' in the States.
