If what is being said is true... GREAT..!

Dialog rather than "tria-log" is desired. Meet each leader "separately". That is a good beginning.

The only concern is "intimidation" and "bribery" by either leaders.

However, given the current "flow" of events and unprecedented political turmoil such things may occur.

In any case it was something expected.

I think US has its own channel for North's Kim.  No need to be informed about North by South.

Balance of power shifting.

You can just imagine the chuckle they’ll be having at the expense of the Orange Moron the Americans elected. I guess they’ve got to make the most of the US being weak and a laughingstock before hairpiece is gone...

Weak? No other President got to sit with Kim, warned Kim, never took his knee off of his neck, never lifted sanctions, in fact, increased them, they may be laughing at his looks, but Trump is the last one laughing holding that cash the Dear leader wants. Lol

No other US President fell in love with Kim either. So tough!

Exactly. Just ask the US intelligence agencies how much Trump had gottenfor legitimizing Kim and cancelling war games. The answer: Nada.

No other president wanted to sit down with a Kim, so that's not really a bragging right for Trump. Nice try though.

And neither did Kim, sanctions still in place and a halt to the war games and still hold the keys to Kim’s money.

No other president wanted to sit down with a Kim,

Of course not, they didn’t want to make the effort, they just decided to give concessions and what did we get? More buildups. Pompeo keeps going there and it’s because Kim wants his money, relief from sanctions, no denuclearization, no money. That’s how you do it.

Kim is definitely using this time to continue to gather money and proceed with his programs, as per the intelligence agencies. So, I say again, Trump has given up a lot for very, very little in return.

Of course not, they didn’t want to make the effort, they just decided to give concessions and what did we get?

Definitively false:

More buildups. Pompeo keeps going there and it’s because Kim wants his money, relief from sanctions, no denuclearization, no money. That’s how you do it.

The more Kim keeps Trump's people flying to him, the more time he has to continue forward.

No NK gets all the goods and cash it wants from China, Trump is now trying to bully China , China can just keep supplying NK. NK wont do anything without their overlords China say so, no amount of threats sanctions from the orange moron will change that, China / Russia will never allow western & democratic influence to invade NK, Id willing to bet China would let NK go to war with the US with Chinas support again before theyd allow the US to take control of NK. We all know how well that worked out for the US the last time they tried.

Nothing was ever said about money or any of the details about the agreement ever publicly disclosed.

In that light and perspective given the world today in turmoil, the economic conditions unpredictable but most experiencing dire future in all areas from economy to religious, and military uncertainties, NK has an extremely difficult path. Given that, it is unwise for Kim to ignore any of his neighboring countries, including Japan.

The only way to keep a meaningful relationship with any of them is to have a "direct" face-to-face dialog. In that situation, there can be no pre-conditions or expectations, other than to have all "options open and available". Whether Moon takes the credit or Kim himself, does not matter. The idea is that the rest of the world would be aware and will be watching or observing what may go on at those meetings. In that way none of those neighbors with power may act openly hostile against NK, lessening the "threat" of intimidation.

Therefor it is a very rational and pragmatic move by Kim. (Which by the way may have been encouraged by Trump behind the scenes to assure US position on the "deal" made earlier and encouraging Moon to be in the limelight after the trade deal made.)
