Cannot fathom how you can spread the VX agent (so lethal it is a weapon of mass destruction) on your hands and not at the least fall ill?? And why was she dressed up in such an easily recognisable and traceable white top with a big slogan across? A setup by the agents who organised this? Too many unanswered questions.

@tigers- I've been wondering the same thing. I remember seeing a video of a military guy in full chemical gear holding a syringe with one drop of VX at its tip, talk g about how that's all it would take.

Seems to me that if the women were duped, then the North Koreans wouldn't take any precautions to protect them from the poison, and probably not even tell them to wash their hands. In fact, they probably would have preferred that these two witnesses die immediately. Nope, just the fact that the NK agents informed the women to wash their hands and somehow also took other measures to prevent them from dying (maybe prior dose of VX antidote atropine or a clear coating on their hands that washed off) means these were agents they wanted to save.

I remember reading of the idea that the nerve agent was applied in "binary" format, with each woman applying a different chemical, and the lethal agent resulting from the reaction. That might explain why the women were not affected. (Although perhaps not for the one applying the second chemical.) The article only mentions one of the women applying the chemical. Does anyone have more info?

This trial is just a formality. There's video evidence. You know they'll get convicted, and if convicted the death penalty is mandatory. End of story.

They're going to die by hanging, but the one girl has such a stupid grin on her face. Maybe she has a mental defect.

Smell CIA ?

No, but I feel for these two ladies.

A deep rage boils up in me towards the four cowardly men from the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, in the north of the Korean peninsula, who ran away to escape responsibility.

Whatever sentence they receive should be held until it can be served on the members of the DPRK assassination squad and the maker of the VX.

Smell CIA ?

Not really. I smell a massive MSS failure to protect Jong Nam. After all the "idea" to possibly replace Jong Un with Jong Nam was brought to China by Jong Song-Thaek, not to the U.S.

No, but I feel for these two ladies.

I don’t. They had free will, no one put a gun to their head and made them do what they did. They weren’t mental and they were fully aware of their actions, regardless if they thought it was some stupid prank, alarm bells should have gone off once they were given specific instructions on how to carefully apply the VX cream that would have made me question the entire so called prank. Sorry, these women are right where they should be.

The only consistent story is the defense lawer's.

It's possible NK ordered the killing but it's also possible the CIA was involved. It wouldn't be the first time US ordered the killing of a prominent person and blamed someone else.

US has an old score to settle, they didn't win the war and never got over it.

Sadly when country leaders don't go along innocent people get caught in the crossfire.

The CIA had nothing to gain from Jong Nam's assasination. Neither did China's MSS. The only party that benefited at all is Kim Jong Un.

Why hasn't North Korea provided the suspected North Koreans who fled Malaysia that very same day and who are wanted by the Malaysian authorities

If North Korea hasn't anything to do with the assassination

It is time for the "Worlds free People" to go after the "Idiot" running North Korea! If this "idiot" is allowed to continue to run North Korea the way he is, a World War will probably start!
