The same mistakes are made over and over. Nobody disarms before a peace treaty is signed. By not taking the obvious first step first, and trying to jump to the last step first, it will never happen.

The negotiators in the US are totally ignorant and useless.

A peace treaty comes FIRST!

Disarmament and dropping sanctions comes AFTER the signed peace treaty, not before it.

The common denominator of Trump and Un is that nobody really understand their 8D chess moves and believe themselves being geniuses (on is stable but not sure about the other...)

3 ( +4 / -1 )

Nobody in or out of the Peninsula wants a Peace Treaty or unification between the Koreas. Sanctions hasn't worked in over 40 yrs, more talking has failed for the last 40yrs. That only leaves one thing that works though costly.

Kim has seen Trump dump his allies in Syria - and is thinking he'll likely do the same to his South Korean partners.

He's also seen him renege on the Iran Nuclear Treaty and unilaterally pull out of the IRBM Treaty with the Russians.

After making Donnie come to his turf on two occasions he has to be thinking he has played Trump like a fiddle.

Expect more provocations, to include a possible ICBM launch over Japan and maybe another nuclear test.

He knows Donnie is too weak to do much other than call him Little Rocket Man....

4 ( +6 / -2 )

Now Kim wants sanction relief, of course he does and it’s not coming. Especially as long as he holds on to his Nukes.

Exactly. There is absolutely no reason at all for Kim to trust anything Trump says or promises.

The Chosen One has demonstrated over and over that he has no respect for treaties or agreements; his word and signature mean nothing.

All he knows is to try and bully with sanctions.

Invalid CSRF

Exactly. There is absolutely no reason at all for Kim to trust anything Trump says or promises.

And all the more reason to keep the sanctions in place.

The Chosen One has demonstrated over and over that he has no respect for treaties or agreements; his word and signature mean nothing.

As if the international community had respect for anyone. Lol

All he knows is to try and bully with sanctions.

Great!

Now Kim wants sanction relief, of course he does and it’s not coming. Especially as long as he holds on to his Nukes.

Except when Donny blocked treasury from implementing more sanctions.

And all the more reason to keep the sanctions in place.

Which is what you accused other presidents as being failures for having done when you were trying to justify Donny capitulating to and appeasing Kim by cancelling war games.

As if the international community had respect for anyone. Lol

Completely irrelevant to Donny have zero credibility.

Except when Donny blocked treasury from implementing more sanctions.

And despite that, Kim still want the current ones lifted as he’s always wanted.

Which is what you accused other presidents as being failures for having done when you were trying to justify Donny capitulating to and appeasing Kim by cancelling war games.

The big difference is none of these other presidents even try to engage with Kim, try to talk with him, even try to negotiate or sit down with him.

Completely irrelevant to Donny have zero credibility.

No, it’s relevant. Kim wants something, sanction relief and Trump is not willing to give it to him and good on him.

-7 ( +0 / -7 )

And despite that, Kim still want the current ones lifted as he’s always wanted.

Okay, but this doesn't change the fact that Donny blocked further sanctions and got played by Kim.

The big difference is none of these other presidents even try to engage with Kim, try to talk with him, even try to negotiate or sit down with him.

Because they were smart enough to know it would be a huge waste of time.

No, it’s relevant. Kim wants something, sanction relief and Trump is not willing to give it to him and good on him.

This is irrelevant to me pointing out your irrelevant response to the assertion that Donny has no credibility and has squandered America's credibility. You've managed to go irrelevant on your irrelevance. Impressive.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

It's hardly surprising, given how the US treats those they've made deals with (Iran) and those who were allies (the Kurds, the UK, the EU).

Still, at least the rhetoric has been toned down. No "crushed bodies and shattered bones" like Mr Xi has promised.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

As if the international community had respect for anyone. Lol

You clearly don't follow international politics. I guess that's what happens when the US becomes an international pariah. But heck, this is what you voted for. The world will move on without the US and its lame duck PotUS.

5 ( +5 / -0 )

Okay, but this doesn't change the fact that Donny blocked further sanctions and got played by Kim.

No, because if he got played then Kim wouldn’t be complaining about the current sanctions, go figure...

Because they were smart enough to know it would be a huge waste of time.

But the fact remains they didn’t even try, but with the Iranians they do...well, at least Trump trashed that disaster.

This is irrelevant to me pointing out your irrelevant response to the assertion that Donny has no credibility and has squandered America's credibility.

The Democrats squandered America and its credibility a very long time ago.

-7 ( +0 / -7 )

No, because if he got played then Kim wouldn’t be complaining about the current sanctions, go figure...

Incorrect. Donny got played because he coughed up things and got nothing in return. Zero. Zilch. Nada.

But the fact remains they didn’t even try, but with the Iranians they do...well, at least Trump trashed that disaster.

The door to diplomacy was open. The previous presidents, however, had intelligence, unlike Donny.

Iran is irrelevant to this conversation. You are clearly interested in disagreeing and not engaging in the conversation in good faith.

The Democrats squandered America and its credibility a very long time ago.

No, butbar least you've come back to relevance. Good job, sport!

2 ( +3 / -1 )

Except when Donny blocked treasury from implementing more sanctions.

Kim wants to stay in power. China wants him to stay in power as a buffer on their border. China provides 80% of nK food and 90% of their fuel (coal). US sanctions are irrelevant to this issue. What did the US send to nK before that it doesn't now under sanctions? List them please...

Which is what you accused other presidents as being failures for having done when you were trying to justify Donny capitulating to and appeasing Kim by cancelling war games.

The big difference is none of these other presidents even try to engage with Kim, try to talk with him, even try to negotiate or sit down with him.

Yea, they weren't morons...

Completely irrelevant to Donny have zero credibility.

No, it’s relevant. Kim wants something, sanction relief and Trump is not willing to give it to him and good on him.

See above...

3 ( +3 / -0 )

Incorrect. Donny got played because he coughed up things and got nothing in return. Zero. Zilch. Nada.

And neither has Kim, zero, zilch, nada.

The door to diplomacy was open.

And Kim chose to having the sanctions stay around his neck

Iran is irrelevant to this conversation.

When money is involved, they want to negotiate, Kim didn’t have any, so no need to make the effort or time. Let’s see what happens next.

You are clearly interested in disagreeing and not engaging in the conversation in good faith.

I always do, but I refuse to live in the liberal world of make believe.

-5 ( +0 / -5 )

And neither has Kim, zero, zilch, nada.

Photo ops to use for domestic propaganda, no extra sanctions from Treasury, the suspension of war games, the green light to test missiles. That's a lot more than zero, zilch, nada. I am flattered that you copied my words. Nobody has done that in a critical discussion since sixth grade.

And Kim chose to having the sanctions stay around his neck

Kim's father chose this given we were discussing previous presidents and not the current imbecile in the WH. Try to keep up.

When money is involved, they want to negotiate, Kim didn’t have any, so no need to make the effort or time. Let’s see what happens next.

None of this makes Iran relevant to this conversation.

I always do, but I refuse to live in the liberal world of make believe.

People who constantly eepkybwith irrelevance are only interested in disagreeing and are not engaging in the conversation in good faith. Sorry, I didnt make the rules.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

40% of the population are malnourished. Human waste is used for fertiliser infecting the population with tape worms. Major outbreak of hog virus which provides 80% of the meat and is now jumping the border into China.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

Photo ops to use for domestic propaganda,

But that has nothing to do with us one Kim getting sanction relief, won’t help him.

Kim's father chose this given

And Clinton, Bush and Obama refused to even try and engage the Kim’s, not wise.

People who constantly eepkybwith irrelevance are only interested in disagreeing and are not engaging in the conversation in good faith. Sorry, I didnt make the rules.

No, but the previous Presidents did....or lack of the attempt.

-4 ( +0 / -4 )

But that has nothing to do with us one Kim getting sanction relief, won’t help him.

Yes, it does because we want Kim out of power and the photo ops strengthen his rule.

And Clinton, Bush and Obama refused to even try and engage the Kim’s, not wise.

Not wise? Yes, because it's been sooook effective for Donny. Hilarious that you are claiming other presidents not having used Donny's clearly failed strategy was not wise.

No, but the previous Presidents did....or lack of the attempt.

What previous presidents did or did not do is irrelevant to you only wanting to disagree. Way too funny that you keep doubling down in irrelevance in an attempt to demonstrate that you don't post irrelevant responses.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

Photo ops to use for domestic propaganda,

But that has nothing to do with us one Kim getting sanction relief, won’t help him.

He doesn't care about sanctions relief - he cares about staying in power and keeping the privileged in Pyongyang happy. China and more recently Russia are providing food and fuel so that will continue. What he wants is a formal peace Treaty where the US swears to renounce force against the regime. But since he's seen Dimwit Donnie back-out of some many treaties, he now is just going to wait until Trump is impeached or thrown out.

Kim's father chose this given

And Clinton, Bush and Obama refused to even try and engage the Kim’s, not wise.

Wrong again - all three had major efforts to negotiate with the regime - and even concluded agreements - that the nK's cheated on (enrich uranium). Of course, Kim would never cheat on Donnie since they're "in love"...

Let's see; wrong here, wrong yesterday on the Iran SOFA, wrong today on Durham's investigation, and wrong today on Hunter being a CEO...

And the Ump says; You're out!!!!!

3 ( +3 / -0 )

The Democrats squandered America and its credibility a very long time ago.

I think the credibility of the US in the world took its biggest blow when Bush 2, a president you and your still unnamed non-partisan historians regard as successful, led the coalition into the Iraq disaster.

There is plenty of blame to go around for the Republicans and Democrats on foreign policy, but Bush 2 was the ultimate car crash. Only a crazed and ignorant partisan who does no reading would blame one side only.

5 ( +5 / -0 )

No, but the previous Presidents did....or lack of the attempt.

Given your encylopedia-like knowledge of what happened on the Korean peninsula over the last 70 years or so; I presume you've read Don Oberdorfer's "The Two Koreas"? If so, you'll find that it's not as simplistic as your statements would have us believe.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

Kim, under no circumstances give up your nuclear program. When the US gives up its nuclear arms then follow. The US started the nuclear arms race but they want to be the only nation to have them. Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, none of these had/have nuclear arms and see what the US did to them. When the US disarms, the world should follow.

The location and the animal are both symbols associated with the Kim family's dynastic rule.

There are rumors that Kim has three children including a boy. The second child, according to Dennis Rodman, is a girl, and no one seems to know what gender the third child is. I doubt Kim can use any of these kids, if they exist, to continue the dynasty.

Kim, under no circumstances give up your nuclear program.

Great advice, riperez! That way N Korea can continue to suffer crushing sanctions!

I doubt Kim can use any of these kids, if they exist, to continue the dynasty.

Why?

Great advice, riperez! That way N Korea can continue to suffer crushing sanctions!

The sanctions that you decried as ineffective when you were trying to justify Donny bending over for Kim? You Trumpophiles are hilarious in your hypocrisy. It's kind of cute that you don't recognize it. TEE HER. HAR!

I have no idea what makes you think this, but Kim is in his mid-30s. He's got 30-40 or more years left in him, plenty of time to make more kids.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

Kim will be fine. He will continue to develop his short range missiles to hit US troops in Korea and Japan and Trump will continue to give concessions and praise him.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

He doesn't care about sanctions relief - he cares about staying in power and keeping the privileged in Pyongyang happy.

And he’s not doing that great of a job or he wouldn’t be asking for relief even with China’s help, if they fulfilled all of his needs, he wouldn’t be pressuring Trump like he’s constantly doing and 3 of his people or at least one would be alive.

Wrong again - all three had major efforts to negotiate with the regime

No, they did not. Clinton, Bush and Obama did not make the slightest effort to sit down with any of the Kim’s.

.

So Iran dusted by Trump, Obama no SOFA agreement, Durham expanding his team and Hunter admitting he was wrong for taking a job that could doom his dad politically.

-3 ( +0 / -3 )

Kim, under no circumstances give up your nuclear program.

He can stay poor and look over his shoulder all he likes, all these dictators were offing off people, Kim seems to be following in those footsteps.

When the US gives up its nuclear arms then follow.

Huh...never knew the US tried to blow someone to kingdom come because they didn’t like them...

The US started the nuclear arms race

What?

but they want to be the only nation to have them. Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, none of these had/have nuclear arms and see what the US did to them. When the US disarms, the world should follow.

Yeah, uh-huh....lol

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

Um, SuperLib - If Kim launches any missiles that actually hit S. Korea or Japan, he won't be fine.
