It has been reported that Prince George 9 and Princess Charlotte 7 will be attending gran gran, Queen Elizabeth II state funeral in some capacity or another.

Of course, that decision should solely rest with there parents.

My Family in UK all respected the minutes silence, moment of reflection.

As for Prince Andrew...

"Knowledge and wisdom infinite, with no boundary or containment, I will miss your insights, advice and humour, Mummy, Mother, Your Majesty, three in one' and said it had been an 'honour and privilege' to serve her"

Why didn't take that advice when the Queen Elizabeth II was on the throne?

I don't believe a word that man breaths.

If he had a spec of honour he would mourn in solitude, contemplating his betrayal to everything Queen Elizabeth II stood for

I'm so pleased this drawn out affair has come to an end.

I wish that I could've been back home in the UK to of payed my respects to Her Majesty.

In my 31 years, HM Queen Elizabeth II was the only monarch that I knew and it still feels strange that she is no longer with us... During my time on this world, just like my family, Her Majesty felt like a constant presence in my life.

I will be watching the funeral later on tonight, though, and I will be toasting to the memory of Her Majesty.

Elvis is hereToday  08:58 am JST

What time is kick off J time?

The funeral starts at 11am BST. So it'll be 7pm JST. Though coverage of the funeral will begin a few hours before that.

From what I've read online. People around the world will be able to watch the funeral live on the BBC's news website. Though, I know that that the Hobgoblin pub in Roppongi will also airing the funeral (and other British pubs in Japan will also most likely be showing it)

The best way to watch a funeral: in a pub getting drunk with mates.

the "national moment of reflection"

This is meant to cement in people’s minds the importance of the monarchy. Charles is not a particularly popular dude, so they’ve got to get their money’s worth out of the queen’s legacy.

BTW, will the Koh-i-Noor diamond be part of the funeral procession?

An estimated 4 billion people will watch it live on TV. If correct, the biggest audience ever for an event.

BTW, will the Koh-i-Noor diamond be part of the funeral procession?

No, only the three instruments of state.

The Sovereign's Sceptre with Cross is also part of the coronation regalia and has been used at every coronation since Charles II's in 1661.

The orb, also known as the Sovereign's Orb, is presented to the monarch during their coronation. This is called investiture. The orb, which dates back to 1661, is a golden globe with a cross. It is meant to remind the monarch that their power is derived from God.

The Imperial State Crown, one of the crowns Queen Elizabeth II wore during her coronation in 1953

Big day in the UK today. I won’t be watching but there’s no denying its significance. Half of the planet are expected to tune in.

It will be on the BBC World News channel outside the UK.

It must have been so difficult for her being a solitary woman in a world dominated by men, King Charles wife said

How rude and insulting for her first televised speech.

I doubt Queen Elizabeth felt dominated by men.

Apparently Chuck the majestic and his wife's aren't even remotely as gracious as the late Queen Elizabeth

Same here, but as mentioned earlier, this may be the biggest TV audience in history.

"I'm so pleased this drawn out affair has come to an end."

WHy on Earth are you reading articles and making posts about it then ? It would make more sense to ignore and avoid things you find tedious.

Then NHK will have missed the actual funeral.

The Queens coffin will start the journey from Westminster Hall to Westminster Abbey at 18:44 PM Japan time. The ceremony in the Abbey begins at 19:00. The coffin will begin its journey to Windsor at 20:15 for the private internment.

All on BBC World as Luddite says legally outside the UK which will mirror BBC domestic coverage anyway.

Outisde that a multitude of choices with a good quality VPN and the relevant apps. Fwiw, the latest Beta Version of iPlayer is streaming in 2160p, so if your Internet and UK VPN is good enough that's a good choice.

For those with a US VPN, then Sky News App is quite excellent and is stand alone and also included in Peacock. All of far superior quality to any YouTube feeds.

As well as the already mentioned BBC news website. International viewers can also watch the live broadcast feed on the BBC's YouTube channel. This broadcast is scheduled to begin at 8am BST.

Regardless of how one feels about constitutional monarchy, the woman devoted her life to the nation.

Have a heart or better yet, remain mute for this one day.
