This new conflict may be purely an ethnic struggle between the Serbians and Kosovans unlike the Ukrainian war now being engaged in by Russians and Ukrainians. However, the two conflicts may be characterized as the same in that they are both ethnicity-imbued.

These citizens have no right to block access for elected officials, they have shown themselves to be acting criminally and should be dispersed or arrested. This is a domestic issue for Kosovo and has nothing to do with Serbia. The people involved are Kosovo citizens, not citizens of Serbia or they would be expelled.

The Serbian authorities if they are truly concerned should be offering Serbian citizenship and a place to live in Serbia. In situations like this, other nations have a right to extract their own citizens, and that is all. No right to send in their military for any other reason.
