Western experts have cautioned that it is far too early to draw any conclusions

Because their 'leaders' fear having to pay more for Russian coal, gas and oil? Or because they, too fear their leaders might be poisoned. It could also be some 'leaders' fear Russians might not support them, won't 'meddle' in their state's politics to help them stay in office.

Kremlin brushes off allegations over Navalny's poisoning

Russians supporting Putin's brand of national socialism use tactics seen previously during the soviet regime, which makes sense given some had government roles in the USSR.

When wrongdoings are alleged, they quickly jump to 'Can't prove it' and 'the 'west' is worse', tactics copied by those elsewhere in the global far right.

Dr. Thomas Hartung, of the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in Maryland, said such substances are easy to detect, even days and weeks after the poisoning, and that "we will know soon which substance was used.”

“The Novichok nerve agents, used in the 2018 poisoning of the Russian double agent Skripal in England, also belong to this category of substance,” he said. "I said at the time that the Russians could have have just left a business card at the crime scene, because the substances can be so clearly traced.”

Dr. Hartung is talking through his hat. Britain's Porton Down, the oldest chemical warfare installation the world, refused to attest that the "Skripal novichok" was made in Russia. The British government then weaseled it was "of a type developed by Russia."

Hartung's blatant falsehood leads one to believe this is yet more propaganda, paid for by the Integrity Initiative. Fake news, in other words.

Does any serious, honest person doubt that Putin is a murderer?

I hope you understand that any allegation without proof remains empty allegation, a lie repeated even hundred times will not become the truth . And yes, in some aspects the West is worse.

@The Avenger

Does any serious, honest person doubt that Putin is a murderer?

Does any serious, clear-thinking person doubt that Putin has no reason to be afraid of a political con artist with very limited support?

nope. Not really. They’re not even going through the motions of a fake investigation. Must not have their scapegoat lined up quite yet.

Typical Russian Govt deflection for anything other than the truth.

Russian people know exactly who Puttin really is and what happens to people showing opposition.
