Kushner as 'peace envoy'? I think that's an editor's error. I think it should be 'pieces', as in pieces of property for Israel, him and his family to develop.

We can argue whether or not it is their legitimate right to do so, but should Trump recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, and move the US Embassy there, it would be the biggest setback imaginable to peace in the Mideast.

I agree. The cynic in me says Trump's handlers know it's a non-starter and are having him say this for political theater. At least I hope so.

He's appealing to the evangelicals in his base. He'll probably back down and blame the MSMClintonObamaliberals (and his lawyers?), but in doing so will have got the pats on the back he wants from that element of his true believers.

What this story fails to mention is the fact that Kushner has again failed to disclose information. Specifically, he failed to disclose the fact that he headed a group that donated thousands to Israeli settlements.

Seems kind of odd to me. Flynn apparently worked with Russian firm to bring nuclear pps to ME. Kushner pushing for peace, despite throwing money behind settlements. All just seems fishy.

It is very clear to all that President Trump has for a long time surrounded himself with people that are master in the art of "deceitful behavior". Pathological lying (also called pseudologia fantastica and mythomania) is a behavior of habitual or compulsive lying. Actions that involve premeditated deceitful intent are not considered pathological. GET KUSHNER, THE LIAR AND DISHONEST BROKER, OUT OF THE MIDDLE EAST AND THE WHITE HOUSE NOW!!!!!!!

Don't worry, Kushner's collar will be getting felt very soon....

U.S. President Donald Trump is close to a decision on whether to recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital, his son-in-law and Middle East peace envoy Jared Kushner said Sunday.

The liars and dismantlers of peace have spoken.

I hope there's a suitable response.
