They have a lot of circumstantial evidence and that might be enough to convict but I would really want to understand why he killed her. That's a big piece of the puzzle that's missing. I wonder if he will ever explain what happened. If I was his defense attorney I would advise against it. Poor woman. The whole thing is just baffling.

Such a poplular gentleman, Mr. Clark. I wonder if this will require a change of venue... furthermore, I wonder if it would do any good.

This guy has not been convicted yet. If there's no witnesses or recording of the act, this may well come down to scientific evidences.
As for the mice, lab technicians take care of them but also know that often the mice are destined for dissection (they're subjects of experiments after all), so it's doubtful it's about animal rights.

This poor woman gets murdered over something to do with lab mice?" Does this really have something to do with animal rights?

I'm glad to hear this won't go unsolved. Thank god for idiots.

Gosh, this story just gets worse and worse. This poor woman gets murdered over something to do with lab mice? I'm glad they got the guy who did it, but somehow that doesn't make this any less disturbing and sad.

I told you who it would turn out to be. Its always you guys in crimes like these.

I dunno, maybe it's the DNA evidence they collected from the body?

I hope the bastard rots in jail for the rest of his natural life for this.

So why do they think he's guilty?

I wonder how he ever thought he could get away with it. Sounds like an impulse crime. Maybe he blew up because she didn't treat his mice with enough respect.

"Traumatic asphyxiation"... Well, "trauma" in medical terms when referring to the cause of death can mean something was broken, rent, or brused. It makes me think he crushed her windpipe. Horrible thing to have happened to her. Sounds like he thought it through too, sending her a text message to meet just before, and the sealing of the body in the wall so as to not be seen disposing of her body. He's looking at life in prison for 1st degree murder at least.
