This probably helped:
Zelensky has insisted that as leader he would demand Putin end Moscow's occupation of Ukrainian territory and pay compensation for the conflict.

Their president is a comedian and ours is a joke. It feels like I'm living in a Marx Brothers movie.

Many/most Ukrainians speak Russian (and Ukrainian, obviously). From my experience, many eastern euros speak multiple languages i.e their own, Russian, German, some English etc. Pretty smart/educated ppl if you ask me.
Chip Star
Yes. Damn NATO for forcing Russia to invade the Ukraine. Damn NATO all to hell!
Chip Star
You don't understand that the Russian military is not called NATO.

Poroshenko and Zelensky are both of Jewish origin, but while the former is a corrupt businessman and bore who takes himself too seriously, the latter is a talented comedian whose inimitable Jewish shtick combined razor-sharp instincts won him a landslide victory. Comparisons with Trump are superficial since Zelensky is a smart professional comedian while the Trump is merely a buffoon and a dullard to boot whose unintended ability to make us laugh derives from his Dunning-Kruger persona and his utter haplessness.

A comedian in the Ukraine, a d-bag in the WH. Sweet.

Congratulations to Zelensky. Hope he is successful.
The 41-year-old performer's bid started out as a long shot but, on the back of popular discontent with the political class, he sent establishment candidates tumbling.
2016 U.S. election, anyone?
