You could not write this as a script for a movie.. this is insane.. with many twists still to come.

No wonder everyone feels the need to armed down there- cops facing murder charges still are on duty ! .

I smell vindication coming for sticking to the concept of innocent until proven guilty.

I do not however smell any apologies or admissions of giving in to mob mentality on the horizon.

Some people here would have hung Pistorius from the nearest tree just a couple days ago. Now....listen to those crickets chirp.

And don't even think I am gloating. I just want such behavior to end. Just wake up please. Its all I ask.

He'll be innocent at the second she'll be proven alive.

The woman was shot three times and her skull bashed in with a cricket bat. Neighbors have attested to domestic violence. The guy had a prior history of arrests for violence against females. He is loaded with cash and bought the best defense money can buy in SA. Of course they're gonna start finding irregularities (big and small) in the handling of the case to shorten his sentence.

He says he mistook his girlfriend for an intruder.

Possible, of course.

But then why did he shoot her in the bathroom? Once in the hip and twice in the head.

Does he often get intruders entering through his bathroom?

They come up through the S bend?

The whole thing smells of someone trying to escape justice by throwing money at it.

Of course, we don't know as yet.

He doesn't bother to ask "Who is there?". He live in very high-security complex. I believe he know his girl friend was inside the Toilet and shot intentionally because she may be threatening to expose some of his secrets like used of PED or something serious matter. He must be knew when his girl friend went to bath room since sleep in same bed. Also he will be definitely notice she was not in the bed when he took gun from under the bed. Mistaken with intruder defend theory is very weak. He has money and good lawyer. So he will be freed on bail soon and charge with lesser crime.
