The hypocrisy of imperialism. Barbarism again prevail in international relations.

Never forget. A medallion of shame around Russia's neck for decades. Monsters.

It is worth noting it should be the same for any crimes committed by Ukraine/NATO.

Like what for example? NATO haven't fired a shot in this war or you have evidence to the contrary?

8 ( +15 / -7 )

Were the people at the check-points preventing peoples escape.

No.

Some Russian propagandists are trying to push that as a narrative though.

In that case, what is the US/West, countless invasions around the globe, for starters just look at Yemen, the civilian situation there is hundred times worse than Ukraine.

One of the tenets of any propaganda campaign is to try to pretend the problem at hand isn't a problem, because there is some other problem. Propagandists will try to divert your attention anywhere other than the problem at hand.

Yeah..that's the standard narrative, will never address the problem behind the problem, as the narrative styled problem is the only problem.

Oh sorry, should we try to attain this mythical land of absolute fairness where every issue is equal and should be equally dealt with in every situation by all people always?

Anyways, the issue at hand is Russia invading Ukraine.

The fact that Putin continues to threaten to use Nukes proves he is losing in Ukraine and at home. The only question remaining is who will remove Vlad the Invader from Office?

The day when he is eliminated, I will celebrate.

With communications disrupted across the city and movement difficult because of shelling and other fighting, there were conflicting reports on whether anyone had emerged from the rubble."

If people have access to non- English news it has already been confirmed the shelter withstood the bombing and many ( most? ) people inside survived. And no this is not Russian propaganda but European news from a country that is a NATO member.

-2 ( +2 / -4 )

Soviet does not aim to win the invasion within short period of time. His (Putin) strategy is similar to the Franco-Prussian War (1870): The Siege of Paris. Time is at Putin's side.

World leaders renew calls to investigate attacks on civilians in Ukraine

...which is reasonable. However good luck with that, as we are getting all our information from the Ukraine government.

Now ask yourself, in whose interest it is to broadcast news about attacks on civilians... the Russian, or the Ukraine government?

This is a fog of war situation, with misinformation on both sides. However, while the Russian side is routinely censored and dismissed, the Ukraine government information is taken at face value.

-8 ( +1 / -9 )

Well geeze ... if the American officials say so then it must be true !

What a bunch of tripe and hogwash .

Don't be too bamboozled by the media shenanigans.

Barbarism again prevail

Pathetic when individuals cannot call out the blatant barbarism of Putin's military. And instead resort to deflections in lame attempts to try to distract from the horrors currently being experienced by millions of individuals because Putin's army invaded a sovereign nation. How many Russians have been killed in the Putin carnage, don't Russians want their family members and friends, many mislead into believing another Putin lie to come back to Russia in one piece.

However, while the Russian side is routinely censored and dismissed, the Ukraine government information is taken at face value.

Perhaps someone lying through their teeth before launching an invasion against a non-threatening neighbor has something to make it seem that way?

It will be a few years before the truth comes out how the US//NATO/UK could have prevented Russias invasion and Putin’s well documented red lines of NATO expansion.

NATO recognises Ukraine as Enhanced Opportunities Partner

12 Jun. 2020

On Friday (12 June 2020), the North Atlantic Council recognised Ukraine as an Enhanced Opportunities Partner. This status is part of NATO’s Partnership Interoperability Initiative, which aims to maintain and deepen cooperation between Allies and partners that have made significant contributions to NATO-led operations and missions.

Anyone shocked, disgusted, sad, etc should pay more attention to geopolitics. By the way, how’s that Yemen thingy doing?

Fascinating.

What do you think this truth is behind this inaction before the invasion you dismissed as fearmongering by the MSM?

Don't be too bamboozled by the media shenanigans.

Including the Russian propagandists posting on social media, especially those long unafraid to post misinformation and even disinformation.

6 ( +8 / -2 )

Zichi, the incident and video you refer to was seen and recorded by a German media company reporting on the Russian invasion.

4 ( +4 / -0 )

Regardless how much “whataboutism” Russian propagandists throw up to try and confuse the issue, nothing can obscure the simple reality that Russia under Poo tin has launched a brutal, murderous and unprovoked attack on a peaceful democratic neighbour.

@mrtinjp

In that case, what is the US/West, countless invasions around the globe, for starters just look at Yemen, the civilian situation there is hundred times worse than Ukraine.

Except the US and West is not responsible and not involved in Yemen. Doh!

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yemeni_CivilWar(2014%E2%80%93present)

Now ask yourself, in whose interest it is to broadcast news about attacks on civilians... the Russian, or the Ukraine government?

Whose interest is it? Wtf are you talking about? Showing the smoking ruins still on fire of apartment buildings and hospitals and houses is in the interest of showing the damage caused by Russian weapons and the Russian invasion that Putin says is not an invasion.

Who's interest is it in to say they are not invading a country when all the evidence, like over 3 million refugees entering bordering nations, destruction on a scale so big it cant be anything but war and invasion, vision of missiles detonating in Ukrainian cities and Russian tanks firing on apartment buildings?

Don't be too bamboozled by the media shenanigans.

Indeed, the world has tried to warn Russian citizens of their governments attempts to do just that.

It will be a few years before the truth comes out how the US//NATO/UK could have prevented Russias invasion and Putin’s well documented red lines of NATO expansion.

Yes, yes, we all know NATO should have invaded Russia or had Putin assassinated to save Ukraine from this Russian invasion, but the outcry would have been monstrous and made NATO out to be the bad guys. We all know Putin has no say about NATO and who joins it. He has no rights in this regard except if Russia applies to join it. NATO nations have no say in who joins CSTO and who doesnt.

That is why sovereign nations are sovereign, because they each make their own choices in their own interests, and Putin expecting any nation to put Russian wants above that of their own nation shows how separated from reality he is.

Russia clearly has no respect for others or THEIR rights, so why should anyone treat Russia any differently?

Video evidence, satellite footage from independent international companies as well as confessions from remorseful Russian soldiers and direct witnesses will all add to the pile of information used to prove Putin's guilt, and that of many of his officers. Not all in Russia are guilty, as many have family in Ukraine who fight for its continued freedom from Russian forces and many protest this illegal violence at their own peril. This is a quagmire of family and friends thrust into conflict against each other because of lies and poor leadership by Russia.

Russia being charged for the downing of MH-17 finally as all the "overwhelming evidence" has been gathered to ensure conviction in an international court after 8 long years. They will be held to account eventually for this and they sanctions will last decades. Get used to the old Soviet bread lines, they are coming back to Russia soon.

In city after city, hospitals, schools and buildings where people sought safety from the bombardment have been attacked

Very strage to explaine such simple things: Ukrainian forces and Nazi troops of Ukraine actively using hospitals, schools and civile buldings for military purposese.

Ukrainian forces are useless otsides cities - Russian Army crusch them easely - so they hiding incide big residential areas.

If there not troops inside the city - no combats.

Ukrainian "herous" should stop to use civil objects like hospitals for firing positions. That's all.

NATO recognises Ukraine as Enhanced Opportunities Partner

12 Jun. 2020

By the way, yes.

Putin promise that Ukraine never will join NATO

So you see... It was wrong decision to promise something to Kiev about NATO.

The same thing for Georgia (country near Russia not state in US)

-6 ( +2 / -8 )

Today we have heavy combats in Kharkov and Mariupol – industrials cities with Russian population in Ukraine.  The same thing for Donbass combats – Industrial area Donbass has mainly Russian population. They are NOT Ukrainian. Two different nations. Ukrainian whant Ukraine only for Ukrainians? No problem! But without Russian areas.  By the way all industrial areas in Ukraine has Russian population. No single other area.

It will be a few years before the truth comes out how the US//NATO/UK could have prevented Russias invasion and Putin’s well documented red lines of NATO expansion.

I’m sure in years to come they’ll try to muddy the waters and gaslight like. But we know the truth now.

Russia said they would not invade. They did invade. They ALONE are responsible for the thousands of Ukrainian and Russian dead.

And NO red line (pretext) of Putin justified this.

The truth is that simple. It’s on Putin. The Russian bodies going home are on Putin.

9 ( +10 / -1 )

If there are not troops inside the city - no combats

In other words, Russian troops go home?

That would end the combats.

8 ( +9 / -1 )

They are NOT Ukrainian. Two different nations. Ukrainian whant Ukraine only for Ukrainians? No problem!

Baloney. They ARE Ukrainian. It’s a war crime to try and take them by force.

And Russia is murdering these and many other Russian speaking-Ukrainians. Russia may be able to seize them by force but will only be able to keep them through violence and intimidation.

7 ( +8 / -1 )

In other words, Russian troops go home?

 That would end the combats.

But of course they at home. You should study history. For example, Kiev – oldest Russian capital (and mother of all Russian cities). Ukrainian – something very new. Such cities like Odessa or Nikolayev – was build buy Russians and have Russian population today. Funny thing – it is no Ukrainian cities in Ukraine. Only towns. (Ukrainian - rural people).

Anyway Russian troops are at home in south-east part of Ukraine with Russian population there.

-8 ( +2 / -10 )

Baloney. They ARE Ukrainian. It’s a war crime to try and take them by force.

They are "second sort" citizens of Ukraine, but if we speaking about their nationality they are Russian. From half to one third population of modern Ukraine are Russians.

So they wand to be Russians, not Ukrainians.

Speak Russian, to havw TV in Russian, education in Russian and so on. And they have totally other mentality from Ukainians.

By the way I'm Russian.
