Well considering Turnbull made his money as a Banker, his No1 priority is licking the feet of rich people. ie half a billion dollar grant to an industry sponsored lobby group that want to mine the Great Barrier Reef? Breaking Governance rules. Climate Change, he doesn't care because it hurts his friends profits. A woeful man on many fronts. He has no care or concern, bet his grandchildren are going to be desperate to change their surnames as they trudge through knee deep water covered in sunscreen after a long day tying to find enable biomass.

Yes. Turnbull and his ilk are traitors to humanity. Wilfully condemning us all for personal profit. His grandchildren will die like the rest of us.

Or if you don't believe in anything much, what about at least the ego satisfaction of leaving some positive legacy behind - something you can point to and say - "I did that!"

Raising the price of energy and burdening poor citizens with unneeded expenses all while the Paris agreement has a negligible impact on the amount of CO2 emissions in the atmosphere is worse than doing nothing.

Temperatures were much higher during the Medieval Warm Period and humans did not go extinct. In fact, they thrived.

Turnbull must go. Turnbull only cares about his money and power. Turnbull doesn't care about the country and the Australian peoples. He has no integrity. Turnbull has cowardly robbed the Prime Minister's office from former PM Tony Abbott.

Turnbull is dummy. Turnbull talks about how bad CO2 emissions from a Coal fire power station, he cares about the environment and the Great Barrier Reefs, and he is a better Prime Minister than former PM Tony Abbott before him, he robbed the PM office from the Tony Abbott but everything he said was bullshxt and he is one the worst the Prime Ministers along with Julia Gillard and Kevin Rudd.

Malcolm Turnbull is scared to death of losing the Prime Minister's office. The cowardice Turnbull will do whatever that can save him ousted from the Prime Minister's office.

The Liberal and Coalition Government will lose the Election because majority of Australian voters dislikes Malcolm Turnbul. They will vote for Labor even thought the Australian voters do not like Labor Leader Bill Shorten.

Malcolm Turnbull doesn't have his own policy. Malcolm Turnbull, Julie Bishop and Christopher Pyne must go. They mismanage the Australian economy and wasted hundred of billion dollars.

We want former PM Tony Abbott back to the office. We will vote for the Liberal if Malcolm Turnbull quit the PM office.

I would think that having to move coastal cities inland due to rising sea-level is an enormously higher expense than increasing costs to electricity.

Temperatures were much higher during the Medieval Warm Period and humans did not go extinct. In fact, they thrived.

No they weren't. Global temperatures are warmer now than they have been during the last 2,000 years. Also, the causes of Medieval warming are not the same as those causing late 20th century warming. The causes were increased solar radiation and lower volcanic activity, which is temporary. The causes for our current warming has a positive feedback effect in that the warming releases more CO2 into the atmosphere and hence increases warming further.

Chop Chop

We want former PM Tony Abbott back to the office.

What? That sorry excuse for a human being. The same guy who cut scientific research spending, was anti-gay marriage, doesn't believe in climate change and thinks "coal is the future"?

Wow, you must be desperately short of politicians if you want that guy back!

Sadly most Australians want renewable energy - subsidised solar panel installation and a way to escape grasping energy companies' bills have wide support.

New, expensive coal-fired power plants take years to come on line and are just same-old same-old.

Science of climate change is still a moot point, especially regarding the longer term, but popular steps for alternative energy are simply cleaner and better for our environment with less cost investment and maintenance. This is why I support it.

However, Liberal Party ratbags with their coal-lobby cronies support infest the government. As soon as energy issues politics arise they raise the spectral fear of Islam, terrorism and migration as a way to make all-too-spineless voters go back into their conservative backward-looking-way-of-life shells.

Turnbull lost party leadership in 2011 by supporting the then-government's energy policy against his then-opposition party's wishes. Then came a couple of years of reckless, wrecking ball, inarticulate, self-righteous Abbott (Australia's thankfully short-lived version of Trump). Turnbull was sort of pushed up as a replacement for him, but Turnbull really as lost his balls.

Still Turnbull is far less distasteful than that motor-mouth self-serving Abbott or grim-reaper hard-man head of Australia's almost blackshirted Borderforce, Dutton. I wish Turnbull'd grow some more and start to lead for a change.

ALERT! Science denier. Safe to take every comment of his with a pound of salt. Someone who lacks the ability to see reality, and is clearly easily sucked into political beliefs that are not based on reality. ALERT!

My main problem with Turnbull isn't with his policies (which I don't actually know), it's his attitude - he's extremely pompous. Whenever he's on TV I just want to turn it off.
