Leicester is one of the UK's most diverse cities, where white British are a minority and with a large south Asian population. It seems possible this is connected with a report in an article in the Telegraph claiming that around half the recent Covid cases are imported from Pakistan, from which there have been 190 flights to the UK since March.

It boggles the mind why the UK government has not been quarantining or ordering isolation to returnees and not stopped the flights, even in recent weeks.

Since when was Leicester up north?

Since when was Leicester up north?

Yes. I always thought the name ‘the Midlands’ was a nice, clear, instructive one.

For some north means north of Watford!

My old Geordie mate used to call us Scousers southerners.

Looks like BLM have huge support in the UK. Lots of people there. It by no means suggests an increase, by the way.

Any stats on how many are turning against them yet?

Definitely Southerners... them and the Mancs both....
