So some of the rioters are saying they 'followed' their Trump.
And so is Mitch McConnell. (I know he's a shape shifter who canNOT be trusted). But it could be McConnell has intel the rest of us don't have directly connecting Trump and his pals like Flynn, Bannon, Giuliani etal with the failed coup.
And it could also be McConnell wants to distance himself from the Cruz, Hawley, Gaetz, Jordan Republican insurrection faction so he can have greater control - and continue to get richer.

Perhaps Mr. "look mom, I've got a job!" fired for wearing his employee ID for this trophy shot, can get a role with Dolt 45.

The only pardon they'll get from Trump is when he says "I beg your pardon who are these u important people" that's if the mannerly way of using the word pardon is in his vocabulary

That depends. They don’t look like they have $2 million, but you never know...

Can an indicted president pardons someone on a very same charge as himself?
A president pardoned everyone who committed crimes at his behest and on his behalf is an impeachable offense. But he is already impeached (indicted).
According to constitution’s text, which states that the president “shall have the power to grant Reprieves and Pardons for Offenses against the United States, except in Cases of Impeachment.” Isn't an impeached president void himself of all pardoning power already?
In my opinion, pardons after his impeachment should have no legal effects.

You deserve prison, you dimwit, and so does your leader.
He’ll join you soon.

They will be treated just like Stormy Daniels was.

All these dimwits attacked the Capitol saying “this is our house “
Now America will tell them “ this is your prison”!!!!

He deserves to be locked up with the rest of them. He aided and abetted Trump until nearly the end. He should be prosecuted too

Hopefully when they're in prison.

If Trump does pardon them, then it would be clear admission on his part that he did incite the protesters and caused an insurrection. Even Trump wouldn't be so stupid to do that.

Never going to happen, Trump was clearly advised that any attempt to pardon, these guys, any law makers, or even his children would more than likely trigger a swift Senate backlash by Republicans and just about guarantee he will be found guilty by the Senate and despite all that he fears, being found guilty then voted to be bared from ever running for office if any type would ruin his plans to control events in the republican party.

I wouldn't mind if Trump pardons them. Just another humiliating position that castrated Trump fans would have to support.
Do it, Trump Give your base their final humiliation that they will be forced to defend.

If Trump pardons these far-right, anti-democratic, violent insurrectionists, then he might as well pardon all the Al Qaeda and ISIS prisoners in Gitmo too...
Which I'm sure if they each paid $1.5 million, he would...
