Hung parliaments are excellent. They restrict the amount of damage politicians can do to the lives of their citizens.

No shock, typical European swaying politics.

A hung parliament would lead to political uncertainty in France not experienced in years.

Watch out for its ensuing negative impacts on NATO, EU & Ukraine war..

Is this result a vote of confidence in Macron as a politician?

Five year ago, 2017 as the French Presidential approached Marcon never held any political office.

To quote: Macron was appointed a deputy secretary general by President François Hollande shortly after his election in May 2012, an advisory role.

So Macron as a political force was untried, and widely seen as a anyone but Le Pen vote.

Now French government is in political turmoil, unable to enact the manifesto Macron pledged his presidency on.
