If he fails, France fails.

In short, no, that is not true. One of the great strengths of elected representative governments are regular elections. Failed leaders can be replaced and new leaders with policies put in their place. France has mature democratic institutions and a fundamentally strong economy.

He had a short euphoria after winning 2nd term. Now he is facing a hung parliament & loads of new domestic & international woes.

Can he cope?
