Madoff should have never turned himself in, that was his big mistake. He provided a convenient scapegoat to make it look like something was being done while the really big fish continue raiding the piggy bank.

The whole system is a Ponzi scheme. You just need to play it. Have a look at the inflating stock bubble. Need more QE? The USD won't be worth a continental soon or later.

His arrest provided a placebo effect.
Yes, yes, Mr MADOFF after all onion's the only thing in the US that you can't trade in the futures.

Madoff should know, he donated heavily to the Democrat party.

SolidariTea on the "the pot calling the kettle black" again...

Why hello there, Mr Pot! Did you know Bernie Madoff and others at his company - Bernard L Madoff Investment Securities - made over 3 million dollars in campaign contributions [ cough cough ] since 1991? Guess what - 89 per cent of it went to the Democrats!
Goodness, Mr Kettle, how did the mainstream media miss that one?
TumbleDry
SolidariTea, find politicians that didn't get some sort of contributions from fraudsters. Even republicans got some money from Madoff. Next, dig with Enron and other companies/personalities contributing Dem/Rep/etc. Get off your high horse and get real for a sec.
