Cheeky little dictator.

even Maduro-friendly Mexico, Colombia and Brazil have refused to recognize the official result without seeing detailed vote tallies.

All you need to know, really.

This might work if the entire population was like 10 years old or younger.

"Nobody in this country is above the laws, the institutions,

“I am the state. I am the law.”

It doesn't matter, the date of the Christmas commercial farce was not December 25 either.

October makes as much sense as any date. We'll be wearing bermuda shorts in October and December anyway. I like the commercial christmas, Mr. TokyoLiving. It makes more sense than a religious one. Maduro seems to have it about right.

The Soycialist Party of America's affiliates or any communism sympathizer in North America should be granted a 1 way ticket to spend the early red christmas in Venezuela.

@fr Not a fan of the USA Constitution, eh?

-4 ( +2 / -6 )

Dictators can do that but no more private jet to deliver the Christmas gifts to the kiddies.

Zelensky moved Christmas last year, too.

And the Catholic Church moved Christmas a long time ago.

Add in how much of Christmas (and Easter) was entirely fabricated) and, hey, what's the biggie.

Zelensky moved Christmas last year, too.

A totally different situation.

1) Venezuela isn't being invaded.

2) Zelensky moved Christmas to December 25th, which is when most of the rest of Europe celebrates Christmas. Anyone else celebrating Christmas in October?

Note, Brazil, and Mexico have indeed recognized the democratically reelected government of Venezuela. They may have reservations if, after the three previous FALSE accusations of 'rigged elections' were more discredited than Trump's claims, that it is possible that this fourth repetition might have something besides conspiracy theories and wild claims, but not enough not to have recognized the official outcome that foreign observers deemed convincing.

Brazil, Mexico and Colombia call for Venezuela to release full vote tallies.

"Colombia, Mexico and Brazil aligned themselves with the European Union and (even) the United States, in demanding proof of his victory and the release of the election records. "

Yes, disassociating Ukraine with the religion of the terrorist, as he should.

Note, Brazil, and Mexico have indeed recognized the democratically reelected government of Venezuela.

Because you say so?

"Venezuelan President Maduro moves Christmas to Oct 1 amid post-election turmoil."

For those experienced with developing countries, they understand what Maduro is trying to say. Usually, people in those countries saves to spend on Christmas, the most celebrated holiday. Which literally translate into these people only enjoy their lives during Christmas. Therefore, Maduro bringing Christmas earlier is calling for greater celebration on Oct 1 for the win. Whether the election was fair and just is not the issue.

Also important to observe the OAS completely failed to get a majority to condemn Maduro.

This means the moralistic trumpet brigade don't have a hook to hang their hat.

Maduro is Trump-lite...

Anyone wanting know what Project 2025 looks like off the paper just look at Venezuela under Maduro...

This means the moralistic trumpet brigade don't have a hook to hang their hat.

Except for the fact that they don't acknowledge the results. That hook works pretty well.

Don't turn up for court, don't complain.

Don't turn up for court, don't complain.

The court didn't do anything except rubber stamp the fake result and offer handcuffs for those who disagree.

Every other registered candidate turned up to court - as they were legally obliged to do so under existing law. Urrutia doesn't get to claim special treatment.

The US-funded "opposition" should not be above the law in any way and be held to account 110% for their illegal actions, which warrants severe punishment to deter others and prevent it happening again.

Hilarious and pathetic move.

It doesn't matter, the date of the Christmas commercial farce was not December 25 either.

But even more hilarious is watching this Dictator's fans scrambling to put a rational spin on this farce!

Such hard-leftists are typically farcical. That includes the current p-resident.

Could someone explain me how what is the political position of some people around here??

Soooo... Nicolas Maduro (Nick Mature) is clearly extreem left and thus evil.. I would argue he cannot be evil because he is dumb and evil needs to have at least a good level of intelligence.

But the allegedly US supported presidential candidate should shut up. Why, because the current US government is trying to control (appartenly Democrats = left??).. something that Trump (obviously Right winged) wouldn't do...

Then Zelenski whos political position is Center... is also evil dictator because again the US government (again Democrats = Left???) is supporting him.. but further Zeleski is "alledgedly" supporting neo-nazis (far Right) so is evil.....all should be left alone so Putin (-tin) a demagogue tyrant ditactor who seems to be a left-wing politician (based on his actions), but for Trump supporters Putin is cool.....

Soo... according to righ-wing democrats... Left-wing is evil = Democrats and everything they support (Zeleski, Gonzales). Thus anything against the "evil Dems" are good Nick Mature (left wing dictator), Putin(-tin) Grand Evil Master of the Future Great Rusian Empire!!....right?.. I mean...left?.... wich idiology are you Republicans????

We seldom agree, but on this I agree 100% with you. We never lied to our child and it did make for some tough talks with teachers and neighbors because we didn't and our kids were typical kids telling everyone the truth. Oh well, people need to grow up at some point.
