Scary-weird things happen in Malaysia. Largely it's due to its foreign policies over the last couple decades that officially stressed "Asian values" over Western ones, and that meant cuddling up to the likes of Pyongyang while slamming the Clinton administration and others.

The mh370 downing was likely planned by the Uighurs or their sympatheizers, another group Malaysia has courted.

Well, you made your bed, Malaysians, and now you're lying in it.

While I accept that Malaysia should follow all the necessary diplomatic protocols, at the end of the day, it also needs to be recognized that embassies cannot be used has safe harbors from which an murder, on 'any' traveler', with military grade nerve gas banned by the UN, can be conducted in an international airport. The North Korean embassy must be closed indefinitely.
