While I think most people can't take a joke, this one was in bad taste anywhere in the world. We are use to Chinese citizens being tone deaf when it comes to jokes about bad things happening anywhere else - after all the CCP highlights all the bad things that happen elsewhere almost daily. Someone from Singapore or the US should know better. She only speaks for herself, not the people of Singapore or the US, but in the US, she does have the freedom to say what she likes without fear of the govt coming for her, asking her to visit a local police station and locking her up for weeks or forever.

I am disappointed that Singapore officials would disclose her citizenship, if that is true.
