He hung up after waiting only 15 hours? Yeah, him don't take no s#it from nobody, yo!

Qantas declined comment, although it told the newspaper it had no record of someone being on hold for 15 hours that day and “the longest wait time was 17 minutes.”

So who is lying?

Easy to resolve - just produce the relevant phone record.

I thought you got cut off after five or ten minutes with a "please try again later" message on these automated call centres?

I never get put on hold anymore. I learnt my lesson long ago. I don't call, I make my arrangements either in person or by mail.

You'd think at some point he'd realize there was a glitch in the system. It's not like everyone was waiting for 15 hours or we'd be hearing about it.

i had cause to call a call center in Mumbai. 17 hours!!!! 2 hours with various people a total of 19 hours the techi person from belkin hung up after 2 hours
