Give this man a medal

Maybe he needs a sign on his front lawn:

Over 23,000 eaten.

This is a story that screams for a picture.

Taka

It will be interesting to see how much longer this guy lives.

If he donates his body to science (and I bet many would people love to examine him, including Morgan Spurlock), I bet his body disappears amid sightings of a clown in red and yellow color scheme in the area.

You can google him. He looks pretty normal.

He looks normal. That's the most dangerous kind. He sure has more than one disorder. I wonder what McDonald's reaction is? They will have a hard time to make an intelligent comment, I think.

Yeah, on the outside.

heh I saw a story about that guy before. I think he got married at McDonald's, too. But I think most people who see him wonder how he stays so thin. Must be in the genes or something...

HE was in the movie about the guy eating McD's everyday. I forget the name of it.

Supersize Me

i just saw that movie too, i am wondering why they did not interview him on how can he keep himself so tin!

In France it's "Le Big Mac."

No photo. Guess he didn't fit. And what kind of a mother requests that he eat Big Macs every day except the day after her death? Talk about a liberal upbringing!

0 ( +0 / -0 )

He only eats one per day, thats quite reasonable if he eats other things that have more health value. Its better than smoking.

McDonald's is certainly hoping a long time.

But I think most people who see him wonder how he stays so thin.

He says that 90% of his solid intake is Big Macs. And since he has about two a day, that's only about 1100 calories a day which is less than the recommended number of daily calories.

I think he got married at McDonald's, too.

He proposed to his wife at McDonald's. He's also kept a written record of every Big Mac he's ever eaten. He's saved every receipt and wrapper which he keeps in a safe. He openly admits to having OCD. I believe him.

What has eating a Big Mac a day got to do with smoking? how is it "Better"? What if he only smoked one cigarette a day?

0 ( +0 / -0 )

I've probably eaten a few thousand

0 ( +0 / -0 )

One Big Mac a day, one pack of cigarettes a day - it's all fine in moderation.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

I wouldn't be surprised if he's otherwise healthy. There are stories of people smoking 2 or more packs of cigarettes for 40+ years and never getting cancer.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

It's not like he ate a cow a day, a dog a day or a cat a day. Come on now. Give the man a break today.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Billions Served: 23000 to Don Gorske.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

That is roughly 1.75 Big Macs on average per day.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Give the man a break today

That sounds way to much like: You deserve a break today.

I do NOT work for McDonalds. But I'm lovvvvvvviiiinnnnn it!! Bacon lettuce burgers rock!!

Helter: "He says that 90% of his solid intake is Big Macs. And since he has about two a day, that's only about 1100 calories a day which is less than the recommended number of daily calories."

Good point, but aside from keeping thin, this will definitely mess up the guy's system. If the entire rest of his daily intake is pure liquid fruit and veggies, then maybe it's okay, but the calorie density of a Big Mac just message with your brain. You can eat a Japanese apple of the same size and it has like 7 times or more less than a Big Mac.

Anyway, power to the guy... that it's the happiest part of his day means that's probably about all he'll get. I do hope he lives a long and relatively happy life.

I didn't know that eating at MDs could give you OCD and make you, ah, er, simple - I mean easy to please.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Some protein might be needed. I suggest one Big Mac a day. You'll be lovin it!

When the Revolution comes y'all, his number will be one of the first up.

OCD is no excuse.

"One Big Mac a day, one pack of cigarettes a day - it's all fine in moderation."

Disagree. A Big Mac may not be the perfect form of nutritional intake but it does have nutritional value. A Cigarette has absolutely nothing to offer of benefit to the human body other than to satisfy the craving caused by nicotine addiction, at the price of considerable detrimental effects to the body.

...of which 2,300 was actually consumed.

Triple - Nah, he actually consumed all 23,000.

I wonder what would happen if like in those Burger King commericials were they claim to have stopped selling the Whooper, if the McDoland's in his area claim to have stopped selling Big Macs.

When the Revolution comes y'all

I have to ask, which revolution are you refering to?

I wonder how many more years this guy has left after eating 23,000 Big Macs? I don't want to see the condition of his arteries.

Altria, one Big Mac, one pack of smokes, one bottle of Shochu it's all fine in moderation. Well, I'm not looking to live to 100 so if I'm wrong.....

0 ( +0 / -0 )

A Big Mac has nutritional value, yes, but very little and you're taking something healthier out out your diet to make room for the Big Mac.

Poor man, maybe he doesn’t know that there are many different tastes like French, Chinese, Italian or Japanese food…

The last time I went to MD was last year, for a birthday of one of the friends of my boy of 3 years old. (Now he is 4 y.o.) He took a bite and didn’t like it so I finished it. I don’t say that it’s a bad taste; I just find it too sweet and have an artificial flavor. (Bread & sauces)

I think I went to M.D. less than 10 times in last 10 years. (And often, jut to take a drink)

Maaan, Mcdonalds food taste good. Me wish to eat the Big Mac everyday, but i is very poor. I eat Mcdonald once a week, usually Big Mag, it is tasty, and if i have extra money a large banana milk shake, wicked!

Man who eat Bog Mac every day, he is lucky man, maybe he's very rich .

0 ( +0 / -0 )

MrEggAndSpoon- A man who eats a Bog Mac daily as you say, would not be so lucky. A big Mac, may be ok, but maybe everyday would be too much. What about Xmas.

you don't have to be rich in America to eat Big Macs everyday in America, even the min wage and welfare guys can afford to!!!

Big Macs are healthy. They contain everything you need.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

bushlover - "They contain everything you need."

They do not. And they contain some stuff you don't need! They are, nontheless, hugely popular. I had one a couple of weeks ago - hey, it was only 200 yen! It's back up to 320 yen now, I think.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

bread, meat, veg. Gotta lovin it.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

I've probably eaten a few thousand

I've probably eaten one or two :-)

You got shares in MD?

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Triple - Nah, he actually consumed all 23,000.

The other 90% came straight out - because of 10% of it is actually nutritious.
