Frankly nothing I haven't expected, just with more insider details as to the particulars of the situations that created the racist sociopath known as Donald Trump.

It's been known for awhile now that Donald's egocentric. That he is a true sociopath, a bully, and at heart a coward. But in Mary's book at least, there is more timeline in just how this was created by Fred Trump.

the Trump fan boys will be frothing at the mouth over this. "Fake news they cried, Fake news"

LOL

Trump is a compulsive liar

That's been shown 20,000+ times during his reign. Not surprising so many of his followers have similar disregard for facts. Fractals, self similar at every level. Probably some are copying him by putting lifts in their shoes to make them look taller and ape his penguin lean.

14 ( +16 / -2 )

LOL! trump fanboy's heads are exploding! Most non deniers of reality already knew that he is a piece of #&'#! And now we have inside confirmation that he will screw over friend or family for another penny!

11 ( +13 / -2 )

I and others had mentioned in the past that trump had daddy issues!

6 ( +8 / -2 )

Amazing and interesting that Mary's first hand knowledge and description of Trump is as spot on to every psychologist/psychiatrist who has weighed in on trump over the past 4 years. Turns out it ISN'T hard to diagnose a mentally ill narcissist from a distance.

A trifecta of challenges — the coronavirus pandemic, the possibility of an economic depression and deepening social divides, she writes — have brought out “worst effects” of Donald Trump’s pathologies, which were less evident when the country had a stable economy and the lack of serious crises.

Those factors, along with “Donald’s penchant for division, and uncertainty about our country’s future have created a perfect storm of catastrophes that no one is less equipped than my uncle to manage,” she writes.

Yeah, trump loved having those rallies trying to take credit for a stable economy that Pres. Obama built. But trump spoils anything that he touches and has made the US a 3rd World country that is being isolated and banned by most major countries in the world.

Putin is smiling all the way from the Kremlin!

Psychologically weird people lacking of empathy are ubiquitous, which is neither new nor surprising. A more profound and urgent question is how he could be elected as the president of a country.

Psychologically weird people lacking of empathy are ubiquitous, which is neither new nor surprising. A more profound and urgent question is how he could be elected as the president of a country.

Because a lot of the people who voted for him are so pathetic and vengeful that would rather vote against their best interest than to see their opposition win again.

Now everyone is loosing because of their stupidity!

14 ( +15 / -1 )

My favorite bit is that he has “long undiagnosed learning disability that for decades has interfered with his ability to process information.”

This explains a lot really. No wonder the poor guy can’t handle even the most basic tasks as president.

13 ( +14 / -1 )

You go girl!!!

7 ( +8 / -1 )

arguing in legal papers that Mary Trump was subject to a 20-year-old agreement between family members that no one would publish accounts involving the core family members without their approval.

Yeah, this is totally a normal thing for a family to have...

10 ( +10 / -0 )

Looks like we aren't going to learn anything about Trump that we didn't know already.

6 ( +6 / -0 )

At least Trump doesn't have a drug-addict son like Hunter (crack pipe) Biden.

"Trump may be a narcissisitc, lying sociopathic half-wit, butwhatabout..."

LOL. Is that the best you've got?

15 ( +15 / -0 )

First Bolton's book and now this one within a few weeks of each other, and each one providing a unique perspective about the president. I guess I'd like to read her book for info on his personality first and then Bolton's book on Trump's performance. Like part one and part two.

8 ( +9 / -1 )

I don't want to be gloom but this may not stop Trump of being reelected.

Trump electors don't usually read books I reckon...

Most of his base doesn't, but those that do are using his time in office for their own personal gain.

trump has been the biggest distraction for criminals of kinds to operate!

“long undiagnosed learning disability that for decades has interfered with his ability to process information.”

No wonder he always tries to tell people that he is the smartest person that they know because of his insecurity about his mental aptitude!

5 ( +6 / -1 )

So he’s a lying narcissistic sociopath AND an idiot who had to pay someone to take his entrance exam in order to get into a university that at the time had a 50% acceptance rate.

And this from a PhD clinical psychologist who is also a family member.

How will his fan-boy trolls (and we all know who they are) spin this?

8 ( +9 / -1 )

...fearful voters “had chosen to turn this country into a macro version of my malignantly dysfunctional family.”

Fact follows fiction: Mary Trump's book depicting the fear she felt at her uncle's election is an uncanny echo of the 1972 Raymond Carver story This Man is Dangerous, a fearful monologue of a terrified mother whose psychopathic son has just been elected Potus, but Mary Trump's quote above puts the cart before the horse because the country has been dysfunctional ever since the start of the Vietnam War and the "gullibles" who gobbled up Trump's messaging were, with the aid of the Electoral College, only unwitting enablers who, as Donald quacked in his Fourth of July speech, "..have absolutely no clue what they are doing."

6 ( +6 / -0 )

Nothing new here. I already knew he was a loser.

6 ( +8 / -2 )

Ah, looking forward to our peanut gallery cackling their applause. Fruit-colored man baad!

-10 ( +2 / -12 )

Donald Trump paid someone to take a precollegiate test, the SAT, on his behalf.

Any actual proof of this, zichi?

White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany slammed the book Tuesday, saying “It’s ridiculous, absurd accusations that have absolutely no bearing in truth.”

She's right.

Remember kids, you can vote your way into socialism, but you may have to shoot your way out.

-18 ( +4 / -22 )

It must be even harder for GoTrumpers these days when they're unable to find a single positive thing to say about what's happening under their Trump's watch. Instead they just go after other posters and continue their attacks on something they call 'the media' and 'socialism'. (How many billions of US taxpayers moneys have been handed out to Trump's fellow 'elite'? Why doesn't anyone know?) hmmmm

3 ( +5 / -2 )

Nothing new here. I already knew he was a loser.

Watch the 'loser" be re-elected in a landslide.

-17 ( +3 / -20 )

Geez, Trump can't even pay a relative to write and book and say nice things about him...

Trump's a narcissistic, spoiled, ego-maniac with the intellectual level of a two-year old...

Yep, nothing new here...except in addition to his daughter, he tries to hit on his niece...

What a classy guy....

5 ( +7 / -2 )

including alleging that the president paid a friend to take the SATs — a standardized test widely used for college admissions — in his place.

Makes you wonder if he gets someone else to take the medical check-ups.

6 ( +8 / -2 )

For Donald Trump, she writes, “lying was defensive — not simply a way to circumvent his father’s disapproval or to avoid punishment, as it was for the others, but a way to survive.”

He still does that every day.

Even the die hard racists don't believe him, but he is all they have now.

6 ( +8 / -2 )

Watch the 'loser" be re-elected in a landslide

He won't leave anyway if he loses. What has Trump accomplished during his presidency?

5 ( +7 / -2 )

Watch the 'loser" be re-elected in a landslide

He won't leave anyway if he loses.

Hang onto that conspiracy theory! Trump will hand over the presidency to the next Republican president on Jan. 20, 2025.

Watch the 'loser" be re-elected in a landslide

Get down to the bookmakers. You’ll get superb odds on a Trump landslide.

By the way, how are you defining ‘landslide’ here? More votes than his opponent this time?

6 ( +8 / -2 )

In 2016 so many great Dems said... they will move to Canada and New Zealand if Trump wins.

It's now 2020.... and they have not moved an inch whatsover....

thus far, only their mouths are the only pieces moving... spewing hate... since 2016.

Go figure!

OK

laws that protect pro-life healthcare entities against discrimination by federal agencies

Boy he is real winner with TrumpCare that promotes injecting Mr. Clean to fight the Corona Virus

But I can't find anything about the TrumpWall. All 3 miles of it. You don't even need ladders and shovels. Just feet to walk around Trump's joke of a wall.

6 ( +7 / -1 )

White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany slammed the book Tuesday, saying “It’s ridiculous, absurd accusations that have absolutely no bearing in truth.”

She's right.

Yup, but this woman is good, she knows the haters will clammer to the book as facts without any pushback or opposing views to counter her claims. Not surprising.

Remember kids, you can vote your way into socialism, but you may have to shoot your way out.

Which is already happening, wait until takes a stronghold. But since liberals don’t like the 2nd amendment.....uh-oh....

-12 ( +5 / -17 )

“Trump’s going to win in a landslide.”

Um, no. No he’s not. If by “win” you mean “lose” then I grant you the point.

You go girl!!!

Bring it on! She's from the family circle and she's got a psychotherapy PhD. That says a lot more than what Trump has got. Especially he bribed someone to take his SAT. He ought to get his degree revoked!

5 ( +7 / -2 )

Finally, a book by a relative that will do what previous "tell all" books by a conga line of Trump haters could not: do: separate Trump supporters from him by the millions and force him to become this century's LBJ by announcing he'll not run for re-election.

-12 ( +0 / -12 )

Yeah, what happened with all those other anti Trump “tell alls” that were gonna “blow the lid off the Trump presidency”? Hilarious.

-11 ( +1 / -12 )

Bring it on! She's from the family circle and she's got a psychotherapy PhD.

And? So what? Doesn’t mean she knows anything about her uncle, or what she’s saying is factually true, because of her degree? Give me a break.

That says a lot more than what Trump has got.

What do liberals speculate on what they could be.

Especially he bribed someone to take his SAT. He ought to get his degree revoked!

Where’s the proof.

-9 ( +3 / -12 )

What has Trump accomplished during his presidency?

Why are you citing the Family Research Council, an officially designated homophobic hate group?

5 ( +6 / -1 )

Hard to prove these accusations. He doesn’t strike me as stupid but he’s obviously not particularly intelligent either. The SAT accusation seems plausible. I doubt he’s ever read a book.

The idea of Trump as a compulsive liar is something anyone with any degree of honesty can see.

11 ( +12 / -1 )

“Mary L Trump, PHD” will get her 15 minutes (who had even heard of her before now??) and then she and her book will be consigned to the bargain bin along with all the others.

-12 ( +1 / -13 )

The SAT accusation seems plausible. I doubt he’s ever read a book.

Again, it’s just speculation, we don’t know if any of this is true.

Many Trump supporters see he’s a compulsive liar. Some prefer the euphemism ‘BS artist’ and others like to say he ‘exaggerates’.

I prefer not to dress things up. He’s a compulsive liar. He can’t even tell the truth about where his dad was born.

Many Trump supporters see he’s a compulsive liar.

Many more don’t.

Most politicians do.

I prefer not to dress things up. He’s a compulsive liar. He can’t even tell the truth about where his dad was born.

I disagree, but I think he’s straight as an arrow when he talks how radical the left is and how dangerous their policies are. A Biden presidency would be the end of small business-period.

-10 ( +2 / -12 )

Many more don’t.

In the same way that people can see what they want to, people can also not see what they don't want to.

A Biden presidency would be the end of small business-period.

In contrast to how well they are doing now under Trump and the out of control pandemic he's allowed to destroy them?

5 ( +6 / -1 )

Trump will himself soon become another statistic of the "American carnage" he's so obsessed with. His niece's revelations will drive another nail into his coffin and light a fire under the funeral pyre of his presidential ambitions. Only then in a Trumpless America can the country begin to clean up its covid-19 mess and prevent its morphing into covid-20.

7 ( +7 / -0 )

Lol, the purpose of the book (or Bolton's book) isn't necessarily primarily targeted at impacting the election results. Mary Trump is sticking the dagger where it hurts, Donald Trump's sensitive ego. It will bother him that some people will believe some or all of what she says, that he knows he is an empty shell of a man that needs to be sucked up to constantly. To have one of his own "family" members (egads the betrayal) do it... lol. Whether Trump gets a second term or not... when the party is finally over and everyone takes off their masks (that's all you Republican freeloaders), Trump will find out no one really cared about him or followed him as a leader. They will distance themselves and throw him under the bus. Then he will again know what Mary Trump says is true that no one really cares about Donald. But how can anyone since he also manipulates and discards people left and right. What goes around comes around.

8 ( +8 / -0 )

White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany slammed the book Tuesday, saying “It’s ridiculous, absurd accusations that have absolutely no bearing in truth.”

Kayleigh promised she'd never lie.

Apparently her boss has taught her it's either the lying way or no way!!

So basically being a "grandmaster" Trump troller on an english speaking Japan newspaper obviously means you know better. Point taken

What?

I love this woman, especially when she fires right back at the msm mercilessly with zero compunction.

I fear (further) for the sanity of some of these Trump haters when Trump is returned in November for FOUR MORE YEARS.

@bass4funk

You are truly a die-hard Trump supporter. I'm pretty sure you will ride that missile till it's end.

You are wearing blinders, Matt. When family airs your dirty laundry, you should know it's truth. Trump is a monster, plain and simple. Compulsive liar? Absolutely! You are on the wrong side of history. That's your choice though. There is a another virus in this country, Trump Supporters. I can't wait to see him out of office. I want to see him out of office, just to see you cry the rest of your days.

He will be out of office - in 2025. After which he will probably go down in history as one of the great presidents.

-11 ( +2 / -13 )

You are truly a die-hard Trump supporter. I'm pretty sure you will ride that missile till it's end.

Just like you haters will as well.

You are wearing blinders, Matt.

No, I’m not “mate.” Liberals won’t even take theirs off, they just cling to the hate like saran Wrap to a bowl.

When family airs your dirty laundry, you should know it's truth.

No, it’s not, case in point, years back my aunt and my mother had a falling out and my aunt was spreading all these lies and rumors which were not true, she presented one side of the story, her side is how she sighed enough for what it was, the point of that is just because their family members it doesn’t mean they will love you if they’ve got your back with that they will respect you, The only thing that you will have for common and without a doubt is the blood that you share, other than that we are all just people with different ideas, thoughts, motives, different historical memories.

Trump is a monster, plain and simple. Compulsive liar?

I would tend to think more people think that the media are the monsters as well as the Democrat party that has allowed itself to be taken hijacked by the Marxists to fundamentally destroy our great nation

Absolutely! You are on the wrong side of history. That's your choice though.

I think you guys are on the wrong side of history in the worst possible way.

There is a another virus in this country, Trump Supporters.

You mean Americans that do not prescribe to the Marxist ideology or the tenants of radical socialism, then I guess we are virus to the radicals.

I can't wait to see him out of office. I want to see him out of office, just to see you cry the rest of your days.

2024 will be a long way to seeing me cry, but I guess....

Depends on who’s writing the bookS. Over half the electorate view him unfavorably at the moment. Perhaps people from the approving minority can write them. Maybe his approval ratings will soar in the future, but they have been stubbornly mediocre.

Bass knows the names of non-partisan historians who regard Bush 2 as a success despite the majority view that he was a failure.

As I said, depends on who you believe.

6 ( +7 / -1 )

Last time out the majority of voters voted for Hillary

So what, she didn’t win the EC, that’s the only thing that counts when you win an election.

Always have been, nothing new. A lot of silent supporters out there like last time.
