After indiscriminately bombing the city into a pile of rubble, and killing thousands of innocent civilians, the Russian and Syrian regimes are now taking the moral high ground ? Surely a joke.

"A pile of rubble"? Some parts of Aleppo have been rendered uninhabitable, but, as journalist Gwynne Dyer recently pointed out, reports of Aleppo in ruins and charges of genocide come from "Jabhat Fatah al-Sham (formerly the Syrian branch of al-Qaida)" and should be taken with a kilogram of salt. Dyer's piece in the Japan Times on December 21 is enlightening.

Exactly Bill Murphy, we are getting a narrative from the people we already know to be liars, extremists, terrorists, and murders, the same people who are supposed to be on the no fly lists etc and then accept that as the truth. We really need to be careful about what we accept as the truth or close to it or just plain misinformation.

After hysterical lies for months about "Russian and Syrian crimes" (while providing no evidence whatsoever) and with its track record of a mass murderer (Yugoslavia, Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya), the West is taking the moral high ground and trying to deny and cover-up the crimes of its clients, the "moderate terrorists"? Surely a joke.

and soldiers or militiamen looting the districts.

I have nothing to say after reading that.

@Azakaze. I would prefer to believe the UN observers and aid agencies before I believe what you read in the politically biased press, which, by the way is surely a joke on those who swallow it hook line and sinker.

BI'll Murphy, good post and info.

UN observers still can not produce any beliavable proof of "Russian atrocities". And by aid agencies you mean such types like "White helmets"? On the Internet there were quite a number of photos and videos with these guys, making staged "saves after Russian bombing", like photos with the same little girl in three different locations. Definitely "a joke on those who swallow it hook line and sinker".

exactly, ZERO Russian atrocities have been documented despite the best efforts of various "observers". Stevie, it's time to draw the correct conclusions and not be manipulated into believing the U.S./western allies narrative.

So, after months of being told that the population of East Aleppo was being starved, now we are to believe it is such rich pickings that soldiers are risking their lives to loot it. I mean, THINK, these 'looters' are from the front line of the 'siege', and it would have been easy, and pretty much risk free, for them to have offered food in exchange for anything and everything of value in East Aleppo. But that's what propagandists rely on, you not thinking, just feeling whatever they have written a script to make you feel.
