Well, the US ain't driving a wedge between South and North Korea either.

No one can drive the wedge between the reuniting of the Fatherland. It is becoming obvious as the days pass that the leader Kim is being the master at negotiating the dream of most Koreans. One Korean homeland. This will be a strong land capable of the defense of the people and also this is going to be the worker's land under the leadership of the North and South together with Mr. Kim helping to guide the way.

The NK wedge will succeed, seeing as Moon himself is hammering on the wedge.

However, if all this actually leads to NK completely denuclearizing, then this will be a historic win for Moon and SK. However if not, then this is cowardly appeasement and betrayal and SK will bear the most responsibility for what will come next

North Korea is the only true ally of South Korea, so relations with Japan and America should be cut off regardless. Korea will be reunited and once that happens America will have to pay for dividing the nation for so many decades

Sweat dreams mixed with delusion.

I am reminded of the German reunification. I met Germans from E. Germany not long afterwards. It took some time and W Germany was bold to take on the burdens of E Germany, but the country worked hard at it and things seemed to work out. I wish the same could happen for Korea.

The Korean peninsula is another story. N. Korea would need to be absorbed by S. Korea, and I don't see Kim Jung Un allowing that. Maybe he can be bought off with whiskey and money.

No, they don’t have to North Korea will re-drive that wedge again, but the North Korean are once again setting South Korea up, once the Olympics are over, the North will renege on everything they’ve said and South Korea will be the one with egg on its face.
