And if Trump hadn't suffered such a massive election defeat, how much would be on the GOP table? But now gone to the Wall.

The Democrats doubled their wealth as well, Biden profited and benefited the most now as President.

President Biden does not earn more than $400,000 salary.

If your wealth is zero then doubling it still make it zero.

The GOP tax cuts cost 1.47 trillion in decreased revenue and their single purpose was making rich people even richer, so on the subject of economic policies, just shut up, Mitch.

Yup, makes all makes sense now why Big tech loves the DNC

https://www.nytimes.com/2021/04/06/business/dealbook/mcconnell-mlb-democrats-republicans.html

I don't think you've actually read the content of this article, because it doesn't say anything that actually helps your "argument".

3 ( +3 / -0 )

Well, it actually does in the sense that 5% of the Dems infrastructure bill will go to actually infrastructure and the rest of the trillions goes into who's pocket?

Your link was about the corporations support of both political parties. Why are you talking about the infrastructure now?

started unveiling his Stalinist agenda

You obivously have no idea what "stalinism" is.

Bass: especially for the growth of corporations that want to expand and hire people

Businesses hire based on demand, not taxes. During the last tax haven the top 3 corporations who received the most benefit laid off workers over the following 12 months.

A vast majority of the tax savings go to stock buybacks which enrich a tiny percentage of the population.

now if you can show me, poor people that can create jobs for the average person, I'll digress.

Do the working class create jobs?

The covid pandemic will still be with us next year.

bass: businesses particularly small businesses are closing at an alarming rate

So let's give tax breaks to small business, right? Why do you insist on giving them to corporations instead, when 1/ small businesses aren't corporations and 2/ small businesses account for the vast, vast majority of job creation?

For the life of me, I just don't understand why liberals think that taxing the segment of America that does most of the heavy lifting

Again, a vast majority of America runs on small business. A vast majority of job creation is through small business. And a vast majority of small businesses aren't incorporated. Why do you insist on giving the biggest tax breaks to companies that don't fit the small business profile when small business creates the jobs?

https://fortune.com/2020/10/22/joe-biden-tax-plan-2020-election-small-business/

I'm sorry, I don't pay to subscribe to Fortune so I can't read the article. Can you summarize it for me?

What I can see is the headline: Joe Biden’s tax plan could take a bite out of some small businesses.

It could take a bite out of some small businesses. My guess is that the article will say that some small businesses run as corporations (although it's a somewhere less than 20%) so some small businesses could feel a tax bite. Does it say the majority? Of course not. Because of everything I've said so far.

My point about the vast majority of small businesses not being corporations still stands. My point about small businesses leading job growth still stands. My point that your tax breaks to corporations enriches a tiny percentage of Americans and enables the corporations to destroy small business, the job creators in this country, still stands. My point about tax breaks for corporations leading to stock buybacks which enriches a tiny percentage of Americans still stands.

Me? Lol! You started it, but I was trying to help you out, but alas....

You and I aren't really having a discussion. You're serving up softballs, and I'm answering to help other people on this thread understand the situation. Your role is to continue to post things you can't back up which allows others to read what I'm saying.

Let's keep it going.

Mitch and the Repubs were all for an UNFUNDED tax break that gave permanent cuts to the Top 1% but only temporary ones (2025) for the middle class...

Further, they only wanted to give lower and middle class Americans $600 a month on the last stimulus bill - a pittance....

Now, they want to downscale a bill that would create millions of new entry level jobs...

The Repubs have been and will always be the party of and for the rich - that they somehow care for their blue-collar supporters is just another Repub "Big Lie" and con-job...

2 ( +2 / -0 )

This is a perfect example of how the Repubs cater to their Top 1% masters...

Unlike the Repub 2018 tax bill that was UNFUNDED, the Top1% who have doubled and tripled their already substantial wealth over the past four years, will be taxed on their capital gains. And it only affects those with a combined household income of over $400K.

But even that is too much for the Repubs...so they do two things;

They lie about the bill - saying it only puts 6% towards infrastructure when that has been proven absolutely false. Repub Senator John Barasso was caught doing that this weekend on TV and was fact checked and humiliated by the host in real-time...

They try to change the subject and deflect with faux culture war issues; the war on Dr Seuss, the Dems will take all your guns, boycott Coke and MLB, Biden is going to limit you to one hamburger a week...

All the while reducing access to health care for lower income folks, making it harder for them to declare bankruptcy, and protecting the predatory "payday" loan business...

If you're lower or middle class, and you vote Repub, you're just cutting your own throat...and making the rich richer...

The Democrats doubled their wealth as well, Biden profited and benefited the most now as President.

So why was the Top 1% tax cut permanent and the middle class temporary? Explain that...

Like the Dems keep saying, anything can be considered infrastructure, depends on how you see it. Love how Dems are now changing the meaning of the English language definitions.

Like covfefe...

They try to change the subject and deflect with faux culture war issues; the war on Dr Seuss, the Dems will take all your guns, boycott Coke and MLB, Biden is going to limit you to one hamburger a week...

Well, not try, they have been, but it’s ok, 2022 when Dems start screaming of losing the House will be the first nail in the coffin for stopping this madness.

Sure, like your prediction that "Trump will win in a landslide" and "Georgia won't turn Blue"...

All the while reducing access to health care for lower income folks, making it harder for them to declare bankruptcy, and protecting the predatory "payday" loan business...

And yet,

Thank for agreeing with me...

If you're lower or middle class, and you vote Repub,

That.’s why people are moving to Florida and Texas, there’s no price for freedom.

If they're going to Texas they better bring some candles...or do like some folks do and book reservations at a Cancun resort...

2 ( +2 / -0 )

So why was the Top 1% tax cut permanent and the middle class temporary? Explain that...

I think it should be permanent especially for the growth of corporations that want to expand and hire people, now if you can show me, poor people that can create jobs for the average person, I'll digress.

So why did the Repubs make it only temporary for the middle class but permanent for the Top 1%?

Sure, like your prediction that "Trump will win in a landslide" and "Georgia won't turn Blue"...

Texas just gained 2 house seats, I was right in 2011 and 2014,

But you were wrong, bigly, in 2020...

Thank for agreeing with me...

I never did

Your words...

If they're going to Texas they better bring some candles...or do like some folks do and book reservations at a Cancun resort..

But they have freedom and the 2nd amendment so....

Yep, they can clean their guns with light from their candles...or run away to Cancun...

2 ( +2 / -0 )

I think it should be permanent especially for the growth of corporations that want to expand and hire people, now if you can show me, poor people that can create jobs for the average person, I'll digress.

Trickle down economics never worked and never will. When you cut taxes for corporations, all they do is give more money to their shareholders. It does not create jobs or spur growth, except in rich people's pockets sizes.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/business/2020/12/23/tax-cuts-rich-trickle-down/

Now feel free to "digress"!

Back in your shell.

The cost of maintaining American overseas bases is about $25 billion out of a defence budget of $800 billion.

Jsapc: Trickle down economics never worked

And the good news is that more and more Republican voters are starting to agree with this. We're winning the battle.

Bass: Based on demand, but with increased tax hikes you won't get demands for employment when people can't even afford a bus ticket, let alone the opportunity to WORK.

Increasing the tax burden for corporations and decreasing it for the middle class creates demand. And the best part is, the middle class gets to choose which corporations get their money. May the best company win. It's not a free giveaway for stock buybacks that enrich management only.

No wonder people are getting laid off

A vast majority of small businesses are not set up as corporations. When you want to give free money to corporations, they will use it to destroy small businesses. And small business creates job growth.

the Dems want to punish success to not all the top 1% to keep their wealth to create jobs

I'm not sure what this word salad means. You seem to want to believe lower corporate taxes creates jobs when we have decades of data that shows otherwise. They use it to enrich management, then the destroy small business with the rest if it.

1 ( +1 / -0 )

Who are the top 1%?

"According to the latest Fed data, the top 1% of Americans have a combined net worth of $34.2 trillion (or 30.4% of all household wealth in the U.S.), while the bottom 50% of the population holds just $2.1 trillion combined (or 1.9% of all wealth). Oct 8, 2020"

Bend it like Trump!

Union complains Trump's Scottish golf resort got COVID-19 relief but still fired staff.

Union officials in the U.K. have accused the Trump Organization of taking advantage of the country's job retention program by accepting more than £500,000 in COVID-19 job funding but still firing staff members.

Peanuts compared to building and maintaining military base infrastructure all over the world.

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

yes, especially when its time to vote in the midterm elections.

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

The covid pandemic will still be with us next year.

Probably longer and at this rate, most countries can't keep people on lockdowns indefinitely, it's just not going to happen, people will rebel, people are just not, and will not take much more of this. The Dems politicizing this issue will come to an end very soon.

Increasing the tax burden for corporations and decreasing it for the middle class creates demand. And the best part is, the middle class gets to choose which corporations get their money.

Yes, but at the same time with Biden allowing the Trump tax cuts to expire and then increase taxes, this nut is doing what the other nut before Trump came into office did, businesses particularly small businesses are closing at an alarming rate and letting go thousands of people and moving elsewhere, even Elon Musk is thinking about relocating to Texas. For the life of me, I just don't understand why liberals think that taxing the segment of America that does most of the heavy lifting is a good thing. People will sit on the cash they have and that will not get recycled back into the community, because that is what you want. The people that will lose are the States because millions of middle-class blue-collar workers are not going to deal with this garbage for much longer and good on them.

A vast majority of small businesses are not set up as corporations. When you want to give free money to corporations, they will use it to destroy small businesses. And small business creates job growth.

Ahh, the Biden tax plan makes sense now. Again, he continues to help the GOP, good man.

Me? Lol! You started it, but I was trying to help you out, but alas....

So let's give tax breaks to small businesses, right? Why do you insist on giving them to corporations instead,

One reason to give opportunities to allow corporations to hire more skilled workers a chance to grow and expand as for the small businesses, they were doing fine with Trump tax credits.

when 1/ small businesses aren't corporations and 2/ small businesses account for the vast, vast majority of job creation?

Again, a vast majority of America runs on small business. A vast majority of job creation is through small businesses. And a vast majority of small businesses aren't incorporated. Texas just gained 2 house seats, I was right in 2011 and 2014, two out of three ain't bad. Georgia didn't turn blue and I think now they fixed that fluke so the next election cycle will mimic Florida's

For as long as I have been on this planet the Dems have always talked about infrastructure and the be far the GOP as well, but not to the exhaustive level the Dems have been asking for and nothing ever happened, but now all of a sudden since this admin took office and started unveiling his Stalinist agenda, we are now supposed to believe that the bulk of this money will actually go towards infrastructure or will it be the way Kirstin Gillibrand wants it to really be?

President Biden does not earn more than $400,000 salary.

ROFL, save that one for someone that is truly an idiot! Love you guys, too funny.

This pretty much in a nutshell encapsulates the entire Biden tax plan now looking back in hindsight.

But this is my favorite part!

Talk about tears for joy.

The Repubs have been and will always be the party of and for the rich

And yet the rich support the Dems overwhelmingly since the middleclass now switched to supporting the GOP, bewildered as to why Dems left the blue collar worker....oh, China...yeah, makes sense now.

that they somehow care for their blue-collar supporters is just another Repub "Big Lie" and con-job...

No wonder people are getting laid off and forcing a tax increase, I would lay people off as well or just pass it on to my clients.

A vast majority of the tax savings go to stock buybacks which enrich a tiny percentage of the population.

And yet, the Dems want to punish success to not all the top 1% to keep their wealth to create jobs, but I guess Biden thinks poor people will somehow magically create jobs, and with the rising cost of living think people will go on a shopping spree....uh-huh...

-5 ( +0 / -5 )

So why did the Repubs make it only temporary for the middle class but permanent for the Top 1%?

I just answered that. The bigger question should be, we all know Biden loves China, maybe that's why he wants to raise the corporate tax so the Billionaires and their corporations move out of the country, have the nation be more dependent on his big government that he so proudly promotes. Listening to Xi makes Biden's life a lot easier.

But you were wrong, bigly, in 2020...

I was right in 2011 and 2014 and soon in 2022

Yep, they can clean their guns with light from their candles...or run away to Cancun...
