What's a swing?

What's a swing?

The word is being misused here so I'll guess that the author is American.

When talking about a journey from point A to point B you may say that you will swing through point C when on the way from A to B. You cannot use swing when describing the whole journey as in the article above.

Why doesn't she try helping children in Puerto Rico first? Oh, by the way, don't forget your jacket.

First Lady Trump is an outstanding ambassador for our country. The people of Africa will appreciate her visit.

The people of Africa will appreciate her visit.

Which countries in particular? You know that Africa is a collection of countries - some of them, like the ones attacked or intefered with by the US may not be so welcoming to the imperial concubine.

Solo trip with 350 secret service at a cost of over a million a day. Maybe she could send textbooks and medicine?

"Mrs. Trump plans to travel without President Donald Trump, who was roundly criticized earlier this year after his private comment about "s-hole countries" in Africa was leaked to journalists."

Gotta hand it to Trump, he may not be politically correct, but he be essentially correct. It is was it is. They are what they are. Heck, the U.S. would have become a s-hole country if Hillary and the Democrats had won the White House and the Congress in 2016. We dodged that bullet!

"Why doesn't she try helping children in Puerto Rico first?"

Heck, why doesn't she try helping children in Washington D.C. first, as the Democrats have seriously screwed up that city.

Sheesh, only Trump haters could criticize the First Lady's trip to Africa to promote good relations and help children.

By the way, amazing how the full version of "s-hole countries" is in the title of the article, but we can't use it in the comments, lol.

Yeah. They need to reserve their criticism for when she wears dresses with no sleeves.

The First Lady:

'We are a global society and I believe it is through open dialogue and the exchanging of ideas that we have a real opportunity to learn from one another.'

Nice tile phrase for the East Wing Master Bedroom..
