I’ve spoken to and treated women with respect all my life, as I was brought up to do by my Southern European father who was born before World War Two. How come in this day and age there are still so many jerks around who have no idea of how to behave around women?

We still got these 'paternalistic' cretins who think women are toys and should be 'barefoot and pregnant'. A 50s mentality. I look at it this way, they're the ones who undergo the trials and tribulations of pregnancy and giving birth. Us men can't do that!

Anyway, rape and sexual battery can and does happen to both sexes and to people in every age group. And 99.99% of rape allegations are real and nobody should have to live in a 'rape culture' climate. It's a tremendous problem that should no longer be shoved under a rug.
