What rat hole that town is - thugs not only killed the mayor (who was working on disaster relief for his constituents❩ but then felt compelled to display his severed head on social media

The US is dreadfully unfortunate to have to share a border with Mexico

Since a lot of the problems in Mexico can easily be found being fostered directly (by the drug and weapons market) and indirectly (by their policies and the economic pressure on Mexican decisions) by the US, Mexico would be the one with less fortune between the two. A good part of the US problems coming from Mexico are a consequence of decades of US measures that affected the southern country in the first place.

And the drugs to pay for them come from domestic sources or south of their border.

Actually, Narcos have changed their business model to push look-a-like Oxycontin pills with fentanyl. The components needed to create fentanyl come from China. The hope is that fentanyl is so addictive that they will be hooked after just 1 dose, assuming it doesn't kill them.

The majority of counterfeit drug production occurs in other countries, mainly China, Mexico, and India. Mexican and domestic drug trafficking organizations operating in the U.S. produce counterfeit pills with pre-made chemicals and drugs from China and/or Mexico. They are usually produced in substandard conditions, labeled incorrectly, and may include dangerous, unapproved substances.

When most of us were in our drug experimentation ages, trying 1 pill of anything didn't kill you nor did it make you addicted. The situation is different today.

People get addicted to drugs in free societies. It's a long border and we have MAGAs resistent to the infrastructure to check entry points.

Many free societies don't have American drug addiction such as your host country, Japan.

Yep and these are the same people who can escape to LA tomorrow with a debit card, phone and free monthly accommodations by using a 5 minute app and no ID documents.

Thought you'd be in favour. Given their proclivity towards violence, you could be sure they'd be Trump voters if you gave them citizenship.

Mexico is a failed narco state. Corrupt police, corrupt army and either corrupt or dead politicians. How to tell if they are corrupt? They have a pulse. Can't really blame them, not a very good choice, cash to look away or a bullet.

Mexico will sadly forever be a dangerous third world disaster zone.

The US is dreadfully unfortunate to have to share a border with Mexico. The thugs that head north make the US dangerous with their propensity for violence, drugs and zero sense of morals.

This is nothing, the Aztecs were pretty blood thirsty during their short lived history, now they have the chance to share their lovely culture with the world.
