That's pretty vile.. But on the other hand, there needs to be some type of control, a women shouldn't go and get an abortion just because she doesn't want a kid. And, there should be no question in the cases of rape or where the mother's life is in danger, it should be performed.

We could agree that a woman shouldn't get an abortion just because she doesn't want a child if we could also agree that there was some time limit within which she could do so (for example, first trimester), if we could agree that there was an exception for pregnancies which endangered or adversely affected the mother's physical or mental health even if not life-threatening or which endangered or adversely affected her economic opportunities, and if we could agree that at any time after which she was forced to continue pregnancy against her wishes, all of her medical bills in excess of abortion costs would be paid by the state and the state would take care of the child.

I am all for legal abortion if there is a good reason like rape, or circumstances where nobody can care adequate for the child, health-issues(both mother and child), etc.

But, IMHO, it shouldn't be an option because someone don't like the Pill, was lazy/careless, etc. Not today when there are tons of protection methods available, etc. I am　also against late-term abortions(partial-birth, etc).

If an abortion is happening than BOTH parents should have equal say in the matter, takes TWO to make a baby so both are responsible for the little one.

Personally I would prefer adoption after birth to abortion.

Now to walk into the murky stuff. Myself not religious, but I see the formation of a life when the egg gets impregnated as it starts the cycle to form a new being.

I don't agree with you, but I respect your opinion. As far as I am concerned, this shouldn't depend on "the murky stuff". I certainly agree that an impregnated egg is life and that it has "being". I think one of the questions has always been, though, when does "being" become "human being".

There are some folks that would rather let the Mother die and save the child. Same people like the ilk known as Paul Hill. A real piece of meat member of a terrorist group known as the army of god. I am so glad that that he got snuffed out for murdering those people.
