Michigan governor says Trump inciting domestic terrorism....

...as he has been for a long time now.  I fear that when he loses  the election he will call for his armed supporters to take action.  And they will.  Democracy is on the line in the USA.

Trump just needs room. A padded one.

6 ( +12 / -6 )

lara trump, apparently the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.

It was just fun at a trump rally? Well, quite frankly, there a bigger issues than listening to a trump right now for everyday Americans.

injecting fear tactics.

Trump's long pushed 'fear tactics'. He knows his base, he knows among them are those who fear alien lizards, the deep state, the media among other imaginary demons, and have so many other fears they keep private arsenals rivaling police department's.

The Trump era will go down in history as the one that divided and weakened the country more than any other ever. He'll be known by many names, one being Humpty Trump, the man leaving behind destruction that all the king's horses and men will never be able to put back together again.

Despots around the globe love what Trump's done to make the US a banana republic.

I hope that most Republican voters would have been shocked by the kidnapping attempt. Pandering to, and encouraging the type of thinking that led to the plot will only alienate even more "normal" Republicans.

His fanatical supporters will lap this up, but he has already secured their vote.

Michigan III%ers, Wolverine Watchmen..

Sounds like a bunch of kids hanging out in one of their friend's basements and making up stupid names for pointless groups.. Oh wait..

Unpresidential, rabble-rousing Trump is always ready to pour oil on fires and fan the flames of discontent. People who incite terrorism get long package vacations in Guantanamo, which would be the perfect (for us) spot for Trump's sudden retirement next year: out of sight and out of mind.

Not really, Michigan is a battleground state and the Dems know that the key to a Trump win is demonizing Trump and making life hard for the man as much as they possibly can. Whitmer and so many Democrat leaders brought all of this anger on themselves, they know it and everyone not drinking the kool aid knows it.

The Trump era will go down in history as the one that divided and weakened the country more than any other ever.

More like the Democrats that weaponized the Federal government and DOJ to take out a duly elected President that’s what the history will tell us.

The US became a banana republic and a nation bent on capitulation and apologies 12 years ago.

Is that right? How many years will it take to MAGA then? What’s the timeline?

5 ( +9 / -4 )

It was Bush that signed trade agreements with China so that US companies could produce plastic crap for next to nothing and import it to the US consumer-that started the rot!

Enough to let our adversaries know we won’t apologize for anything

Michigan governor says Trump inciting domestic terrorism

That's exactly what he is doing - whether is conducting a bio-terrorism event in the Rose Garden or inciting his far-right, white supremacist militias to kidnap and murder, Trump is the Uber-Terrorist...

What other terrorist could boast they've helped kill over 215K Americans...

4 ( +7 / -3 )

Oh, it's the Lock her up chant again. Trump is forgetting she's not running for president.

If anything, it's Trump who'll be going to jail. Big time. Bigly. Fantastically.

Sound like exactly the kind of people who shouldn’t be in any position of leadership let alone President.

4 ( +7 / -3 )

Face it, trump knows he only has a few good years left. Biden too, but Joe doesn’t have the anvil of justice hanging over his head and a wave of prosecutors just sitting by waiting.

4 more years in the Oval Office is the last thing he really wants to do, but it’s his best alternative to stay out of jail. That and his fragile narcissism won’t allow him to seem weak. But everybody knows he’s done.

2 ( +5 / -3 )

A terrorist leader can only have followers if they believe in the cause. That is about 50% of Americans.

-2 ( +2 / -4 )

Bass:. More like the Democrats that weaponized the Federal government and DOJ

The Democrats aren't in charge of the DOJ. Republicans are. Mueller is Republican. Coney is Republican. Rosenstein is Republican. They were the decision-makers.

This has been explained to you numerous times.

Where is this alleged domestic terrorism (apart from on the streets of some large US cities).

I recommend Parler. You’ll get all the answers you need. Only downside is there won’t be any libs there, just likeminded folk.

Oh wait, that’s why the right wingers log on here. Can’t own the libs and feel superior if everyone is in the same crazy conspiracy boat, right?

2 ( +5 / -3 )

People of good will on both sides of the aisle need to step up and call this out and bring the heat down."

She's too kind. Those who incite, plot and carry out terror attacks need to face jail time.

Genuine protest is one thing, but plotting to kidnap and execute a politician is the sign of a failed state.

Currently, the thug in the White House is using rhetoric that is riling up extremists.

Make no mistake, he knows exactly what he's doing and is an enemy of the American ideals that he swore to uphold upon taking the oath.

Stop making excuses for him.

3 ( +6 / -3 )

I think the news reported that the group was formed and the plot hatched before he tweeted anything about Michigan.  also weren't some of the plotters critical of him?

And still not seeing mass right wing protests or terror on the streets of the US, are we?

-1 ( +4 / -5 )

No, because I’m 2008 and 2012, the person that won the popular vote also won the electoral college.

Bill Clinton failed to win the majority of the vote in his election and re-election - never heard Dems saying he wasn’t a legitimate president.

Seems like most elected politicians in the US are far, far out in the weeds. Pelosi has been in Washington for decades and yet the same problems still exist.

IMO, the US has not hit bottom yet and it doesn't really matter who wins. This election is really meaningless. Neither party offers any concrete solutions to serious structural problems that need to be addressed head on and not nibbled at along the edges.

Offering to "tax the rich" and give the money to the bottom 10% still leaves the vast majority out of solutions.

Saying "their name" and taking a knee does absolutely nothing to solve grossly inadequate funding for school in Black neighborhoods. Millionaire basketball players wearing slogans on the uniforms for their community belies the fact that they all live in exclusive communities that only 1% of American can aspire to live in.

Neither party has any ideas on reforming the central bank which for more than a decade has been driving asset inflation while punishing people on the bottom rung.

Expect nothing to change after the election except the people who will be picking your pocket will have a smile and tell you nice things while they rob you.

To a certain extent. At the same time both parties and especially the Democrat party will not break bread with Republicans. Look what happened last week as Feinstein hugged Lindsey Graham, liberals went nuts and some are calling for her to step down, this is madness! Also, if we should have a dialogue it should start locally, you need to have Democrat mayors and governors not be so hostile and work with Republicans together to bring the temperature down in the cities and these communities where you see a high level of violence and then move on up to Congress and then to the president

Clinton won by popular vote in both 1992 and 1996. I think you’ll find that Donald Trump and George W. Bush were the two elected without winning the popular vote.

“Liberate Michigan!” A plot to kidnap the Governor is hatched by some true dead-enders.

“Stand down and stand by” Proud Boys put it on their Twitter page (Fun fact: The FBI classifies white nationalist groups as the biggest domestic terrorist threat.)

“Lock them all up.” Your own DOJ has pointy refused to indict anyone for anything. They didn’t even see the need to issue a report.

But we were just having fun, right? Nod, nod. Wink, wink.

but it’s OK for this Democrat to keep people locked down and for what most red states are opening up and despite people getting the corona most people are now getting better there a better therapeutics and more people are recovering, how are these lockdowns helping the people of Michigan in putting food on their table how long do you want to subsidize these people how many stimulus checks must the government continue to write. Again, when you lock down the country for more than eight months and people can’t see a reason for it and they can’t feed their families, something bad will happen for sure.

“Stand down and stand by” Proud Boys put it on their Twitter page (Fun fact: The FBI classifies white nationalist groups as the biggest domestic terrorist threat.)

Taken out of context as usual.

Q So, Mr. President, let me follow up: White supremacists, they clearly love you and support you. Do you welcome that?

THE PRESIDENT: I want law and order to be a very important part — it’s a very important part of my campaign. And when I say that, what I’m talking about is law enforcement has to — the police have to take care. And they should stop defunding the police like they’ve done in New York —

Q  But I’m talking about white supremacists, sir.

THE PRESIDENT: — like they’ve done in New York. I just told you.

Q But do you denounce them? Do you denounce white supr- —

THE PRESIDENT: I’ve always denounced any form —

Q Of white supremacy?

THE PRESIDENT: Any form — any form of any of that, you have to denounce

“Lock them all up.” Your own DOJ has pointy refused to indict anyone for anything.

Well, that is one good thing that the president doesn’t have to worry about, if the Democrats do take power, then that means Trump will never be locked up as well

-8 ( +0 / -8 )

I'm sorry to break it to you, but Michigan is not locked down. It doesn't matter how often you bleat it, it ain't true.

And this is why I think Trump is going to take this state.

Bass, it might be a good time to start preparing your victory speech for when Trump loses.

I think Biden needs to prepare his and he also promised to concede peacefully, I’m holding him to his word.....as if that’s something to hold onto.
