The government’s Russian-backed assault on Idlib, the Syrian opposition’s last stronghold, has uprooted more than 830,000 people

And to think people cheer on any of the various militaries and militia fighting for control so their faction of the globe's .01% can get richer.

There are no good militaries or militias fighting in Syria.

So I guess that in the wake of the 'regime' crushing the 'rebels' in Idlib, there'll be the mass graves and miles long fleeing convoys we were lead to expect (but never actually saw) when the 'regime' crushed the 'rebels' in Allepo, the suburbs of Damascus, Palmyra...

(Will the authors and editors who've been promising those things end up making the sort of apologies that they had to over their equally impassioned and sustained promises that WMDs would be found in Iraq?)
