The Dem controlled House of Representatives voted themselves a 13% pay raise due to massive Biden inflation then went on 6 week vacation.

Millions of Americans could find themselves homeless starting Sunday when a nationwide ban on evictions expires, even as billions in government funds meant to help them go untapped.
Just like with the 2008 banker bailout, which resulted in foreclosures for millions of Americans and private equity flush with bailout money buying properties on the cheap and cementing a rentier economy for millennials, here come the results of the corporate subsidy heavy pandemic bailouts. Enhanced unemployment ending in September along with rent controls..just as some of the immediate dangers from the virus recedes, the true economic misery for workers has to be delivered under late stage capitalism.
Thank you classic neo-liberal disaster capitalism formula! Democrat or Republican, same result.

Dems are just totally bungling this small majority they have for only 17 more months.
Can’t seem to pass anything at all and just blame Republicans for inaction when not even Dems are willing to vote for their nonsense.
6 week vacation now? Bad optics.

It's is not like Mitch Mcconnell has not developed obstructionism into an art and the raison d'etre for conservatives since the Obama admin.

And of course , the Republicans fought tooth and nail , like they do on other issues, to oppose this?
This Red/Blue fangirling is just ridiculous.

Not surprising the GOP would try to prevent such help for people who are going to lose their homes. As long as they can make the Dems look bad, it's mission accomplished for that sad bunch of hypocrites.

The GOP as the minority can “prevent” nothing. Dems are responsible for this not being passed.

Im speaking of the lack of passing a Bill to extend the eviction moratorium.
dems didn’t get that done and instead just left for vacay instead of doing as Biden asked.
