Millions of children displaced due to extreme weather events

I guess the parents just grew deeper roots?

Won't anyone think of the children?

Storms, floods, fires and other extreme weather events led to more than 43 million displacements involving children between 2016 and 2021,

Interesting opinion.

It should be obvious that the children are not displaced while the parents remained fixed, the phrasing clearly emphasizes that the displacement is also affecting the children for which the problem can have much more serious consequences than for adults (which is why the UNICEF is interested and released the report). This is of course not just an opinion but something based on clear and objective information that can be examined by anybody else, disagreeing with the report would then of course have no meaning without giving arguments that demonstrate the conclusions are not valid, which appears very difficult since it is much more likely that more victims would be affected by taking into account indirect factors as the last part of the article explains.
