This is what happens when most of the important positions in both the Dept. of Defense and the State Dept. still go unfilled.

This is what happens when idiots think we need a businessman to run our government.

This time we killed 18 of our allies in Syria, and two weeks ago we killed 200 innocent civilians, and YES even "beautiful babies".

While the media keeps asking Trump what his foreign policy is, this is what happens when our idiot in chief has none.

U.S. Central Command said coalition aircraft were given the wrong coordinates by their partner forces,

Ever-shifting partners in a war where there are no good guys.

Trump's now in charge of the US military. The military has long been a mess and looks like it's getting worse. Trump, the man who campaigned on having greater knowledge than the generals and who had a plan to defeat ISIS in 30 days, is putting the world at risk with these reckless attacks and his threats. Rightists, Russians and the terminally angry who pushed his candidacy: you own this.

And yet, you won't see most msm calling for blood at what is clearly veiled murder.

The people killed in Iraq recently? That 'investigation' will go no where.

Sanction calls? Ha!

How can any nation be considered a paradigm of peace when they continually get away with what amounts to war crimes?

I dunno why Fred got thumbs down....Where is the outrage of the world? Please don't say it's different when the US does it. Hypocrisy, to me, is the greatest evil.

Just trying to clear up my head here.

The fighters that were hit were Kurdish Syrian Democratic forces, who are not necessarily anti-Assad, but they are actively anti-ISIS, and wanting to reclaim stolen land.

The Free Syrian Army 'rebels' would like to topple Assad, and they are anti-ISIS. They do not see themselves as extremist Islamic fighters.

Al Nusra/al Qaida are anti-Assad, but also classed as radical Islamic terrorists.

ISIS are anti-everybody, but have occasionally co-operated with al Qaida terrorist factions.

The American campaign against ISS and Al Qaeda forces is failing and needs a rethink.

From what I've read, it's actually succeeding - ISIS has been on the retreat for over a year now.

But that all said, the west has no place there, unless requested directly by Iraq and Syria, in which case NATO or the US should be requested, and they should handle it.

Because most people can't handle the truth!!

I think that's mostly Russia and Syria (Assad) to thank for.

Because most people can't handle the truth!!

True. It's either that or the truth is simply hidden from them. Like you said, the MSM hardly reports this.

Well done, 'Merika! Somehow the wingers will STILL cheer for this, though.

Trump's finally figuring out politics - the bigger the bomb the bigger his ratings will bump up - regardless of who he bombs....I suppose we should be thankful that no one is bombing us (the US that is) now that we have a Mussolini wannabe in the White House - I've finally stopped trying to even attempt to defend the actions of my gub'mint....a (deadly) farce.

Seriously, you're blaming a friendly fire incident, something which occurs in every single modern war, on the President? Explain how a different President would have avoided getting the wrong coordinates by the SDF. Explain how having those positions in the DoD and State filled (which by the way they ARE filled, just temporarily by career bureaucrats/diplomats), would have avoided getting the wrong coordinates by the SDF.

You people completely validate the political horseshoe theory. "It's Obama's fault" is now "It's Trump's fault", even when there's no logical connection to Trump.

Apparently they were given the right coordinates, but the fighters there were not ISIS as the Kurds had thought.

This happened many times in Vietnam

@Ron, and even so, Vietnam won US. does not have too good winking record in Asia except against Japan. Korean war, North won. I think Japan stays away from US plan to attack N Korea. Wherever US make wars in Mideast and Africa,, it never won yet.

Okay I'll bite. What "wingers" will cheer for this? Right, left or Deborah.

Afghanistan,Syria and maybe North Korea is next? Is this what the American people want? More blood on their flag?

Korean war, North won

Weird, I don't recall Seoul being occupied by the Norks last I checked.
