Looks like these people prayed did not follow the preachers agitation. It is not religeon but preachers' action. people followed Koran instead of preacher. It is easy to blame a religeon but often violent people use religeon as an excuse for their vicious activities.

Part and parcel of being an Islamaphobe is being so certain there are not already a lot of these peaceful protests going on among Muslims. What interest does the media have in reporting on them?

My Uncle is an American born and raised muslim. Last I talked to him was in 1996 when I didn't know squat nor diddly about Islam. Guess which side of protesting he was leaning towards? He was also the one that handed me a pre-9/11 Qur'an in hopes I'd become muslim too.

I know there are peaceful Islamic protestors but I've seen a LOT more of the more violent types even in the US. The last muslim I know of that was vocally peacefully protesting the violent and more aggressive types has a ton of fatwahs on his head and others calling for him to be murdered. Get to know the thousands of muslim apostates that run sites against Islam because they've grown up with it, and see straight through the smoke and mirrors that gullible folks like you want to believe. There is the white-wash version of Islam that most people learned about after 9/11 because the pre-9/11 Qur'an translations had to be "re-written" to appear much less out for blood.

"Young, the first ever Philippine Miss World, took the crown from last year’s winner, China’s Yu Wenxia.

Young, who is studying digital media and also presents TV shows in the Philippines, pledged to “just be myself in everything I do, to share what I know and to educate people”. "

Hopefully she can educate the hardline Muslims protesting her achievement.

One very good thing is that we're reading about who won and not some suicide bombing tragedy. Congrats to Ms Philippines/Ms World.

Denouncing the pageant as a “whore contest” and “pornography”,

Geeezzz...I feel sorry for any Muslim woman that ever wins this pageant.

Beauty contests vs. public executions (beheadings, stonings in sports stadiums).

You choose.

Actually, I'm pretty sure us "Islamaphobes" wouldn't be so phobic if there were a lot more of these prayer protests instead of the more constantly used death and desctruction protests.

The Indonesian Muslims are just jealous because none of their girls would ever make the cut for such a contest!

@BurakuminDes--How many Indonesian girls have you met? The last one I met made me insanely jealous of her boyfriend and I had not felt that way in over a decade. Oh, but yeah, she probably would not make the cut for this contest, that is true. But if you ask me, none of the beauty pageant contestants hold a candle to that one Indonesian girl. There was nothing fake or formula about her. She was a genuine beauty!

No bombs detonated, no bombs found, and no bomb threats. Instead Muslims protested by praying!

Islam haters are going to have a hard time swallowing this. Surely it must the lib media working a cover-up!

Mabuhay! Congratulations to Miss Philippines!! Omedetougozaimasu! Too bad some of these Muslim radical nut terrorists have nothing better to do than to threaten holy war jihad with anyone they do not consider as HOLY as they supposedly are, which is a bunch of BS! We are in a war of freedom against the tyranny of these terrorist and this time, FREEDOM has one! Now just be ready for more Muslim terrorism down in Mindanao and my guess they will try to hit soft targets in Miss Philippines's home country etc...to avenge this event of "pornography and whore parades" ?? If they really want to be disgusted they should see the trailer trash in the USA that force their 3 year old girls to drink some crazy juice to keep their little girls all wired up for those child beauty pageants. That is even made fun of on South Park, and if even South Park makes fun of you???
