Trump and his family are poised to financially benefit from the arrangement.

Trump and family poised to financially benefit. Grifters one and all. His cult followers continue to laud his corruption.

Also, there is nothing stopping him from cutting a personal check to his campaign to cover the debt.

He’s broke?

"It will be a sad day for this country when a leading politician cannot spend his election expenses in any way he sees fit."

It's hard to imagine now that Peter Cook meant that as satire in 1979. Then again I'm not sure if he could have imagined anything quite as absurd and disturbing as Donald Trump.

Yes, @Haaa Nemui, he's broke. And he'll be even more broke when the civil courts get finished with him. I wouldn't give his carcass to a dog for breakfast; the poor animal would puke.

“Given the rate at which these lawsuits are being thrown out of court one after another, it’s fitting to learn that they were never engineered to succeed in the first place and are instead the dismal basis for a dog and pony show,”

Bingo! Tee hee

@TrevorPeace - yeah, outside of the office he’s done for. I’m quite sure there will be more who have sided with him too. They can protect him at the moment and in turn he can protect them but it won’t be long.

Custer had his last stand and this will be Trump's last scam (before they put the silver bracelets on his little hands and take the perp for a walk - I can dream, can't I?)

POTUS redefined: piece of truly unbelievable ....

Of course, he is broke! He has already been aggressively spamming people to donate to his lawsuits for the mail-in ballots. The fine print says that 50% of the donations will go campaign debt.

His scamming has already infected the rest of the Republican party. Dakota Governor Kristi Noem are asking people to donate to a trump fund that will go directly to her campaign.

Conservative star Kristi Noem is asking for donations to "help bring it home for the president," but watchdog says they're likely going to her re-election fund.

Governor's pitch to aid Trump appears to benefit her own campaign fund

PREDICTION:

trump will make as many or stay as long as possible at his various resorts until January, so he can get paid off of the taxpayers dime for all that security staying at his place.

Mark my words!

He's in debt to the tune of 400 mil.Gonna need more than the fistful of dollars his dummy supporters will cough up.

You give his dummy supporters too much credit. They'll likely keep giving him money for this and all things after he's out of office, including lawsuits, etc.

If he were to open another fake Trump University or ask for money to buy an island for a golf course and create Trumpland, a dictatorship, they'd follow blindly, and give it to him.

Remember, this is a cult, they're pathetic in their devotion, and the weak minded will heed Trump's call.

I encourage every USA loving Trump fan to hand over their hard earned dollars to the billionaire. Serves them right.

13 ( +13 / -0 )

@Superlib

Are you sure that he is really a billionaire?

10 ( +10 / -0 )

Well, I wouldn't expect anything less (or more) than this from Trump. He is a grifter and always has been one. He'll con anyone out of as much money as he can before leaving office.

11 ( +11 / -0 )

Its pretty clear that the main aim of all this drama he is inflicting on the country is to create a new way of monetizing his supporters. He is hundreds of millions in debt, he doesn’t have a TV show anymore and his hotels are probably losing money now due to Covid.

So keep sending him money you MAGA supporters out there, as soon as he has enough we’ll finally be rid of him.

His next move will be to start a Political PAC. I wonder when the go fund pages will start popping up to pay the legal fees for all those lawsuits against him as a private citizen will start coming.

His next move will be to start a Political PAC. = His next move will be to start a Go Fund Me pages.

Of course, he is broke!

If that was just that. Nothing wrong with being broke. The problem is Trump has never earned enough to cover his lifestyle, so he's lived decades spending millions he owed and never repaid.

he doesn’t have a TV show anymore

He should get an Onlyfans channel and post videos where he'd do the Prez from a studio imitating the White House's decor.

Trump has promised to contest President-elect Joe Biden’s win in court. But the fine print indicates much of the money donated to support that effort since Election Day has instead paid down campaign debt, replenished the Republican National Committee and, more recently, helped get Save America, a new political action committee Trump founded, off the ground.

No doubt some will find its way to the "someone" he personally owes $421 million too...

Or is it now over $880 million?

Give all your money to Trump so he can fight for his rightful victory (and pay off his debt)!

I wonder if his supporters who comment on his site donated to his fund. If they didn't, then they must hate America and don't believe in their leader.

Maybe try a Kickstarter? Get some new hat designs.

Imagine sending your own food and rent money to Donald Trump because he's having a week-long diaper blast after losing the election. Couldn't be me.

The unusual way the Trump campaign is divvying up the contributions has drawn scrutiny from election watchdogs, who say Trump and his family are poised to financially benefit from the arrangement.

This is a family which stole money from the children's cancer charity.

So they cannot fall any further.

Getting their stupid supporters to contribute to repaying trump's debts pales in comparison.

10 ( +10 / -0 )

I could have seen that coming a mile away. Remember, this is a family who stole from a children's cancer charity. They have absolutely no shame. Tax payer money has flowed into the family business during the whole of the past four years. Every single meeting has had to take place in one of their resorts or hotels.

The whole family should be locked up in jail next year.

Filing new challenge in election results, bringing the election outcomes to court,..? What for?

Just look at the number of popular votes, most Americans want you to leave the Oval Office. So, let it be, never act like a 'bad and poor loser'..

Trump's contempt for his supporters is bottomless, it seems. And they actually enjoy being ripped off, because it's what they'd do in his position.
