Aahh those times when the biggest "concern" of America was a presidential bj.

"my boss took advantage of me" - Stop playing the victim. The only reason he could do that is because you chose to put yourself in that position (literally and figuratively).

Did you not read the next line? Because your second sentence is repeating what she said.

3 ( +5 / -2 )

Sensei528 says:

"my boss took advantage of me" - Stop playing the victim.

What? You think it is all her fault?

She even admitted that it was consensual and that she too was to blame!

Can you read? Or do you just want to continue to inflict pain on her.

They were both wrong to have sex like that and they have both lived to regret their sin.

Now, can you forgive and move on?

poor girl made a bad decision to have and affair with a married man that in most case would not have followed her around for the rest of her life. bill should have been impeached cause he lied, not because he had an affair. isn't that why michelle doesn't travel with barrack.

Exactly. She was an adult, both were consenting, therefore the sex in itself is NOT a crime, however, she fell for Clinton's charms and persuasion and used his power of the office to bolster his position and for that she was extremely naive on her part believing anything that Clinton said or promised her. On his part, the lying is what got him in trouble, had he told the truth from the beginning, the fallout wouldn't have been as bad, but still Bill is seen as a rock star and is just adorned by the left, well most of them anyway...

"my boss took advantage of me" - Stop playing the victim. The only reason he could do that is because you chose to put yourself in that position (literally and figuratively).

That's a bit of a slippery slope. As I said, she chose to sleep with Bill, she is in some part a victim. but he used the power of the presidency to seduce her, lied about it, went underground for awhile people hated him and now he resurfaced, more popular than ever and all the while, destroyed Lewinsky in the process. The woman can't even find steady employment and that's messed up. Regardless of what anyone thinks of her, she didn't murder anyone, she just made a bad mistake and she suffered for it and now people should move on and leave the woman alone. She has EVERY right to feel bitter. She paid the price, but what about Bill? That's messed up. Hilary got angry at the wrong person. She should've went after her husband aggressively and not after Bill. He initiated the fling AND given his history with Jennifer Flowers, Paula Jones, Ward Gracen and supposedly more and all this before he became president, so there is most definitely a problem with Clinton, women and keeping his pants on. There is NO refuting that.

I was in the South of France when Clinton was being interrogated on TV and saw it in my hotel room. The French press was having a field day ragging the scandal, which would not have been a scandal in France. I was with the French on this. The whole Bill-Monica affair should have been regarded as a private matter, period. The real scandal was the political opportunism that led to the investigation, impeachment trials and the public humiliation of Monica Lewinsky. I hope Lewinsky says everything that she has to say. If that ruins Hilary Clinton's chances to be the Democrats' presidential candidate all the better. Clinton is as much a hawk as George W. Bush.

Since the relationship between the man and the woman was consensual, there is nothing that needs to be said about it. Judgements of relationships from the outside are grounded in ignorance and invariably wrong.

'ethics, standards and morals don't mean anything'

It's probably better to rephrase that as 'my ethics, standards and morals'. Clinton's sex life and extra-marital affairs are a matter between himself and his family. There was nothing more hypocritical ( and I certainly don't include you in this ) than the right in the US launching tirades against Clinton's affairs, often making implicit or explicit reference to religion ( the US right and religion are now bedfellows ) and its morals, while conveniently ignoring almost every tenet of the religion they espoused with their status-driven greed, materialism, and bloodlust for revenge. I wonder what gentle Jesus meek and mild would make of the NRA? In my view they are 'sins' far more heinous than a sordid bj. Selective outrage.

C-mon now folks above, have you no cognitive thought? She does not claim rape. But any POTUS can con the pants of of many young ladies. Yes, she cooperated but it was Ol Bill to blame and the Hillary verbally trashed Lewinsky to no end. She forgave Bill. Never forgave publicly Monica Lewinsky.

1 ( +6 / -5 )

The single best thing to come of Bill and Monica's workplace trysts was the complete and total destruction of any and all credibility of the far left feminist movement in the US. Ever since Bill Lewinsky'ed all over Monica's blue dress feminists have stopped telling everyone that relationships between a man and a subordinate women in the workplace is exploitive and essentially rape.

I'm just looking forward to the day when Hillary and Monica can get together and bury the hatchet like the mature women that they have now become.

Women desire to beautiful, and men are suckers for beauty.

Men desire to be powerful, and women are suckers for power.

Back in medieval times, men would blame women if caught in an "inappropriate" relationship and say she bewitched him with her beauty. And blame was heaped on women. Not accepted today.

These days, women say he bewitched her with his power. And blame is heaped on men. Yet I can find little difference between the two scenarios.

Of course it is another matter if a man with power threatens to use his power to make a woman's life hell if she refuses. But I think that happens a heck of a lot less than just simply women falling for men because of the power. But yes, even that is now somehow "the man's fault".

I agree with Wolfpack about the ultra-feminists.

1 ( +1 / -0 )

WE DON'T DO THAT...and if we do we're sluts and have some type of plan to use that dress later, for personal, professional, or financial gain. One of the three.

Well, a woman would do that if there is the possibility that you would be destroyed by Hillary's minions if the story got out that you were having an affair with her meal ticket - as was done to Paula Jones, Jennifer Flowers, Kathleen Willy, Juanita Broderick, Dolly Kyle Browning, etc. etc. They all told the truth and were denigrated as lonny and trailer trash. Monica was young and naive but she wasn't stupid.

1 ( +1 / -0 )

Why now for free? She should've took the $10 million offer and retired in the sunset out of limelight.

0 ( +5 / -5 )

A chicken in every pot and a car in every garage was Herbert Hoover's (gotta love a president with a name synonymous with a cleaning machine) 1928 campaign slogan. Ol' Bill settled for a chick in the office and a general motors hummer. Honestly Monica got a bad rap and should have told Hillary to kiss her tukas.

'It is a good case to compare why a hereditary monarchy, based on the upkeep of spiritual values, might be a better system than one in which any power hungry and corrupt individual from any background can become national representatives, especially when it is just all about money.'

All 'National representatives' should be chosen by and removed by the people - preferably at the ballot box. The idea of hereditary monarchy is an affront.

"the narrative of events that brought her global humiliation."

Bill's the one who should have been humiliated.

0 ( +2 / -2 )

She's responsible for her actions, but Bill's White House people and Kenneth Starr's Republican-led impeachment both in the end used her for their own ends and did her no favors.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Yubaru

Exactly. She was an adult, both were consenting, therefore the sex in itself is NOT a crime, Actually the "sex" act itself could have been considered a crime because in the state of Maryland adultery is against the law.

Good thing they weren't in Maryland!!

Was the phrase "sexual harassment by boss" and lawsuit often 20 years ago?

0 ( +0 / -0 )

I think a key point is being missed here. Linda Tripp, Kenneth Starr and his evil pals aside, it was not Lewinsky or Bill who were most wrong here, if wrong at all. It was the disgusting public and press and their tabloid story fetish, combined with their treatment of Lewinsky, which they did partly because she has no power and partly because she is a woman. Bill was largely forgiven.

My pride as an American takes a big hit when my countrymen go all "Colosseum spectator" and treat people's private sex lives as modern day bread and circuses. If not for their hooting and cheering, Starr, Tripp and others could not have had a platform to stand on with this non-story and gross invasion of privacy.

Hard to believe people turned Lewinsky down for a job. She who had the integrity not to sell the story, persecuted for a legal and natural act, seemingly either on the basis of thought derived and perverted from biblical babble, or on the basis of a sort of twisted jealousy. I see America still has scarlet letters, just in another form.

Sex in the Oval Office? Yeah, I am sure lots of people farted there too. Or sneezed snot onto the carpet. Get over it. These little things do not define the room or the White House. People worthy of being called human understand that.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Clinton previously had been confronted with allegations of sexual misconduct during his time as Governor of Arkansas, including a civil lawsuit filed against him by former Arkansas state employee Paula Jones, alleging that he had sexually harassed her. Lewinsky's name surfaced during the discovery phase of Jones' case, when Jones' lawyers sought to show a pattern of behavior by Clinton that involved sexual relationships with other government employees.

Media guest speakers now talk about Hilary. One said if Hilary is elected, she has to get rid of all female employees in White House. One said, No, Hilary is not going to declare candidacy, She has been too busy keeping eyes on Bill. One asked how to call Bill, First what?

0 ( +0 / -0 )

But the employers balked, claiming her “history” made her the wrong person for the job.

Unfortunately in the World that we live in, a woman will forever be scorned if they cheat or sleep with a married man. If a man does it, they can bounce back soon and we will just say boys will be boys. Bill Clinton is living perfectly fine now.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

The question should be, "What is she wanting now" or "Why now?" Why do I sense a "I'll get back at you for this" behavior now. That fire went out a long long time ago. What can she gain by doing this, and I think that's the point here, she wants something. The only thing she's doing now is hurting Hillary. Does it never stop?

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Immunity agreement period is over quite while ago. She can speak up anything now, She has to earn money to live on, She does not have to live poor when she has a chance. Some business organization hate her but there are more TV circuit. Hope she got a good deal with Vanity mag,

Sorry, NO, they are not. Not if you are a public figure that WE the tax payers foot the bill. The absolute sheer boldness and shameful disregard for the people, his position and not to mention above all, his family.

bass4funk, as an American, I do not feel I was disregarded (not by this anyway) I do not feel he disregarded his position. Just because taxpayer's money pays his salary does not make him a robot who can work 24/7. He needs downtime too, and whatever legal behaviors he does in his downtime to keep himself on an even keel is none of our business.

As for his family, that is between him and his family. You and people like you really, seriously need to figure out what is and is not your business. I read your words and wonder if you would approve of having a toilet cam in the presidential lavatory so that you can inspect the poo of your tax paid leader and ensure that he is healthy and eating right.

There was TV hour that news people questioned to Univ students. Responses: 1. Who? Bill? Blil Gate?. 2. Is she a movie star? 3. Is she cute? 4, Is she helping student? etc.

I remember she used to do TV commercials. She did health food commercials years ago. .

'I would not extend that to other members of the British royalty, nor claim the system nor the Imperial Household Agency is in any way perfect.'

That's why your argument is nonsensical. You respect the current monarch but don't regard the rest of her family in the same way - no doubt including her errant children. They will inherit this position regardless of their suitability to keep a 'spiritual continuum as caretakers of a heritage'. As the late, great Tony Benn put it, how would you feel if you visited the dentist and just before he starts to drill, he mentions that he himself isn't a dentist but his father was a very good one?

TmarieMay. 07, 2014 - 05:02PM JST Didn't she start designing handbags? Business is bad? This woman is no victim and should stop playing the victim card. She rolled the dice and lost.

She is alone and needs a paycheck. Yes, she has floundered over the past decade. Lewinsky might not have gotten the guy, but she will finally get the cash. You must admit that’s not a bad payday, even if you had to shred your reputation to get it.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

She is from well to do family. She knows how to make money. She criticized Clinton;s book that degraded her. She was in some TV, too beside doing commercials. Then her mother had to keep eyes on her because she was suicidal after she became suicidel, etc stories replaced Sterling racist remark stories. Monica stories died now and back to usual murder stories in USA media.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Yes, the morals and ethics you are espousing are your own.

Uh, huh. It's what I would expect a liberal to say, do as you like, whenever you like, who cares about moral standings. And this is another reason why Dems are in trouble because of that hippie, let it be lunacy thinking. It may be my own, but as the man and the president, he had NO business approaching her and trying to use his power to court her.

Can you claim to speak on behalf of everyone?

When you libs rant about Bush, you are doing it on behalf of yourself or the American people. Think real hard before you answer that.

I know those on the US right see red if the word 'France' is mentioned but I regard the French as far more grown-up about these matters and far too politically aware to allow private lives to cloud the bigger, more important picture. 'Out of control' better applies to the moralizing, primitive, religious nutcase right which has infiltrated the US right and is dragging the GOP back into the Bronze Age. You are talking about a country where nearly half the electorate believes in Adam and Eve. As for 'his family', that is non of your, nor anybody else's business.

You use France as a model?? Who cares what the French think, I'm not French and could care less, if I wanted to be like France and were jealous of them, I would have moved there. Don't make a weak straw man argument. The problem with the out of control liberal weed smoking liberal loons is that they are completely destroying the country. 5 years and what do we have to show for it. A bunch of millennials that walk around saying "dude" can't speak properly making excuses for EVERYTHING that this admin. does, but ironically wants to hold the GOP responsible for ANYTHING that they deem in their mystical magical dragon eyes as wrong or not falling in with their so called values( chuckle ) whatever that means. We pay taxes, he's a public figure, damn right it's my business, you want to play around, divorce your wife, be single, I wouldn't say a thing. At least you're not holding down the country.

As for his family, that is between him and his family.

Yes, but while he's on the job, No.

You and people like you really, seriously need to figure out what is and is not your business. I read your words and wonder if you would approve of having a toilet cam in the presidential lavatory so that you can inspect the poo of your tax paid leader and ensure that he is healthy and eating right.

I'm not even going to entertain something so ludicrous. Come on now.

Who cares what the French think

Apparently, you do. And not 'what the French think' only but 'what people of other countries think' too. You see, imposing American standards of everything to rest of the world, year by year you do care what the world thinks. I have to say that many people of the world were laughing when looking at infamous show with Lewinsky and Clinton. Crossing the line between private and public affairs you quite successfully tried to degrade the President of the USA to level of a village idiot.

If you are young, skip to read this writing.''

;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;

a blue dress with Clinton's semen stain, as well as testimony from Lewinsky that the President had inserted a cigar tube into her vagina, Clinton stated, "I did have a relationship with Miss Lewinsky that was not appropriate." Clinton denied having committed perjury because, according to Clinton, the legal definition of oral sex was not encompassed by "sex" per se. In addition, relying upon the definition of "sexual relations" as proposed by the prosecution and agreed by the defense and by Judge Susan Webber Wright, who was hearing the Paula Jones case, Clinton claimed that because certain acts were performed on him, not by him, he did not engage in sexual relations. Lewinsky's testimony to the Starr Commission, however, contradicted Clinton's claim of being totally passive in their encounters.

Both Clinton and Lewinsky were called before a grand jury; Clinton testified via closed-circuit television, Lewinsky in person. She was granted transactional immunity by the United States Office of the Independent Counsel, in exchange for her testimony.

I brought up France because you mentioned it as an example of moral degradation. I admire France in many ways, not least for the turnout at general elections which has exceeded 80%, hence my comment about being politically aware.

And you can like it. That doesn't mean, I do. Been there 5 times, great food, culture, would never want to live there.

Your rant against the liberals is pretty much par for the course and as usual utterly irrelevant to my points,

But when you do the opposite about conservatives, your rants are coherent?

but you are making the mistake by many on the US right of seeing Europe as a pit of immorality. The US is one of the most religious developed countries and your country and the GOP needs to free itself from the religious nutters which often turns your country into a laughing stock.

That's your opinion. Besides, the U.S. is NOT in the business of trying to appease the Europeans there is nothing wrong with embracing religion, doesn't bother me, if you want to believe in the big bang theory, that is your choice, but don't force me to believe as you do. The only person that thinks about making everyone else feel good is....well, maybe Obama...

The sight of Presidential candidates denying evolution, a vice-presidential candidate undergoing an exorcism, a President telling the world that god told him to invade Iraq and as I mentioned, and as you refused to comment on, an electorate with almost half believing in the literal truth of the Noah story and I haven't even mentioned the televangelists.

So let me get this straight, you think it's wrong when the French have multiple affairs to the point where they don't even know who the first lady is, But Hollande sneaking around on a scooter, trying to avoid the paparazzi is justified, but a minute ago, you were saying it's normal casual and let the people live and do as they want, who cares? Apparently, Hollande and his mistress did, that's why she sued the tabloid that posted the pics of the two, the people want to know, but it's none of our business. But it's ok for Ueber libs or Europeans to comment on a president that invokes God and respects him and believes in the bible, now all of a sudden, that is NOT private and that should be public and scorned and ridiculed and shunned? Contradiction, Naaaw. Jim, you are digging a hole buddy. I don't have that long of a shovel to hand to you.

Europe as a whole and France are not morally lacking

Oh, please! I could poke holes all day in that statement, all day, but some would get my post deleted or a warning from the Mods.

they seem to subscribe to a morality which has escaped the US right in creating fairer societies where the poor are not left to rot.

The poor? Are you serious, you guys embrace Euthanasia, need I say more?

The U.S. is far, we have a Black president, the first elected and mostly by White people, free, fair, no racism and no country has come even close, in particular, Europe. So why doesn't the great France or the UK or Germany or Italy, Portugal and all of the other European countries elect a Black President or other minority. I can tell you they won't! Not for a very, very, very, very long time. Not even Canada has and would elect a Black president. So if anyone is intolerant and unfair, it's not the U.S.

They have generally grown out of a childish moral code lifted out of the bible which was often used to excoriate Cilnton. One day, perhaps the idiots in the US will also grow up.

As I just mentioned above, I hope and pray the U.S. doesn't try to be anything like Europe, that was the purpose of us leaving Europe in the first place hundreds of years ago and now we want to be pulled back into to that crap? No thanks, they can keep it. I like Europe right where it is in Europe.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

@Jim

If you want to believe that, then do so. I personally don't want to U.S to be anything like France and if our president wants to believe in the almighty, more power to him. We don't care about being a laughing stock and it is totally irrelevant what Europeans think. That is the reason why we separated from Europe and sailed away to get away from religious persecution. I think when liberals rant on conservatives it shows that there is something that they fear, for if not, why would they get so knotted up when it comes to the discussion of religion. I think Europe should grow up and worry about themselves and let America worry about itself.

“Any ‘abuse’ came in the aftermath, when I was made a scapegoat in order to protect his powerful position,” she added

If Old Clinton is the doctor who enjoyed free oral message from young and naive female patient, he will lose his licence and being prosecuted for misconduct.

However he was the President of USA. Therefore he is completely innocent as Saint. He has dishonored white house with his infamous cigar and dirty coat. However he could get away without any charges. It was the injustice.

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

Since the relationship between the man and the woman was consensual, there is nothing that needs to be said about it.

Depends on time, place and marital status. If Judge and Lawyer have made affair in the court room, both will be lost their job, reputation and privilege. They have transformed honourable court as dishonourable love hotel. For Bill and Monica, they were guilty for changing white house as porn house. White house is no longer white because of them.

Judgements of relationships from the outside are grounded in ignorance and invariably wrong.

President of US should be faithful to his wife. President of US should respect the white house and former Presidents photos. President of US is not the Henry VI who can have six wives. President of US can not cheat young intern woman he will really marry her. President of US is the role model. If founding father George Washington is still alive, Bill will be kicked out from white house to blue house.

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

What silence ? She's told her non-story in media for decades, but her show interests nobody. It seems not everybody can be a Kardashian.

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

I am sorry but he was only the president of the USA, the USA does not quite rule the rest of the world (yet).

The question of an elected representative during engaged in politics and a hereditary one separate from politics, as in the UK, Japan and elsewhere is by no means a simple good bad discussion.

Described as "the best democracy money can buy" ... the biggest one being India ... has to raise questions about the ambitious of any individual entering the race.

Would it not be better to have some who did not actually want the job so badly and was trained since childhood for it, and consequently was free of many of the excess of the former?

Bearing in mind that both positions are merely figureheads and not where the real power lies, is it not better to have a figure head that is a little better behaved than any of the recent presidents, or is that how you want your country to be represented ... by a notorious Mr Big type "playa"?

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

First of all many presidents have had sexual affairs, they're human, get over it. Most of Europe doesn't have a problem with it. Why did we, the US, who has used SEX in advertising for everything from politics to showbiz, condemn it so much?

BUT MY BIGGEST COMPLAINT ABOUT Monica is...

I'm a woman. Women DO NOT have sex with men, get sperm on their dresses, WRAP THEM IN PLASTIC and hide them in Mom's closet. WE DON'T DO THAT...and if we do we're sluts and have some type of plan to use that dress later, for personal, professional, or financial gain. One of the three.

We keep movie ticket stubs and tiny cards that come with flowers or jewelry to remember relationships, WE DO NOT KEEP PLASTIC COVERED SPERM SMEARED DRESSES!!

I've always wondered what her Mom thought about that dress sitting in her closet. My mother would have been so ashamed of me.

-2 ( +2 / -4 )

She was working at the whitehouse. It could easily be argued that a young girl on staff can't afford to refuse the boss - especially when it was the President of the free world.

Clinton was bad. He should have been concentrating on more important things.

Having said that, it's a pity that there was so much attention put onto this. A president shouldn't be distracted from his job.

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

Unlike some countries (France) where you can have countless mistresses and kids out of wedlock and think it's ok to the point where a segment of society thinks ethics, standards and morals don't mean anything should be a good indication that you've reached rock bottom of the sleaze level.

Not really. The president's private live has nothing to do with his/her ability to lead a country. It's baffling why the Americans have such a hang up on it. Europe has it right. People may not necessarily agree with the president's choices in his/her private life, but they aren't illogical enough to think that it has any bearing on their ability to effectively lead a country.

-2 ( +2 / -4 )

This is what gets me about you liberals, the audacity thinking and believing you don't have to be responsible or accountable for anything, just do as you like, if it feels good, I will be the judge and forget anyone else around me.

No, it's simply a matter of not letting things that are irrelevant clouding that which is relevant. The private life of the president has absolutely not bearing whatsoever on their ability to effectively run a country. Republicans go on so much about keeping the government out of their bedrooms - then drag the president's bedroom into their ability to lead.

This is another reason why Europe is out of control.

Are you really trying to claim that Europe out of control and that the US isn't, or that the US isn't as out of control as Europe? Talk about delusions.

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

The fourth reason might be self-protection. Powerful men have killed inconvenient women. At least now, in her case, the media and behind the scene political interests were only able to assassinate her on a personal professional level while the president lied ridiculously.

Perhaps because they did not know where the evidence was? In her case, I would want a good insurance policy too.

Why it matters is that someone who is willing to break the most sacred of personal vows ... their wedding vows ... is equally or more likely to be deviant in their upholding of professional responsibilities; and the responsibilities or implications of someone is such a high position are far greater.

It also sets a standard for the rest of the population, e.g. ... "if it good enough for the President, it's good enough for me!".

What we see in the Clintons are two individuals who put the obsession with power and the money it brings in above such humiliations. Who can say they are the two best people in the USA?

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

Apparently, you do.

Seriously, I don't. Really, I could give a fig what they or ANY other country thinks. Yes, I said it!

And not 'what the French think' only but 'what people of other countries think' too.

They can all milk a rubber duck.

You see, imposing American standards of everything to rest of the world, year by year you do care what the world thinks.

I care in that I want our enemies to fear us, yes. They should be imposed on our enemies. Other than that, No!

I have to say that many people of the world were laughing when looking at infamous show with Lewinsky and Clinton. Crossing the line between private and public affairs you quite successfully tried to degrade the President of the USA to level of a village idiot

And you guys can think that. Be happy where you guys are, I am happy to be where I am and that's fine, remember, laughter goes both ways.

And as usual, the media and the world have forgiven the man in the center of it all. I like Bill but why Monica took heat for HIS decision to cheat on his wife is rather unfair but oh so common.

It is a good case to compare why a hereditary monarchy, based on the upkeep of spiritual values, might be a better system than one in which any power hungry and corrupt individual from any background can become national representatives, especially when it is just all about money.

I am never failed to be surprised by how powerful women who would rush to be seen as "feminist" would turn equally quickly on weaker women and attack them.

Given the past, I cannot understand how America can remain besotted by these individuals.

Were the cigars Cuban?

America, no problem with its citizens murdering each other and invading other countries, but a BJ nearly brings down the presidency.

Unlike some countries (France) where you can have countless mistresses and kids out of wedlock and think it's ok to the point where a segment of society thinks ethics, standards and morals don't mean anything should be a good indication that you've reached rock bottom of the sleaze level. And leave it to liberal Europeans to deflect from the topic and bring up something that is unrelated to what this thread is about.

"my boss took advantage of me" - Stop playing the victim. The only reason he could do that is because you chose to put yourself in that position (literally and figuratively).

Exactly. She was an adult, both were consenting, therefore the sex in itself is NOT a crime,

Actually the "sex" act itself could have been considered a crime because in the state of Maryland adultery is against the law.

It's probably better to rephrase that as 'my ethics, standards and morals'. Clinton's sex life and extra-marital affairs are a matter between himself and his family.

Sorry, NO, they are not. Not if you are a public figure that WE the tax payers foot the bill. The absolute sheer boldness and shameful disregard for the people, his position and not to mention above all, his family.

This is what gets me about you liberals, the audacity thinking and believing you don't have to be responsible or accountable for anything, just do as you like, if it feels good, I will be the judge and forget anyone else around me. This is another reason why Europe is out of control. I'm not an overly religious guy, but there should be some form of decorum, if you think it's no one eels business, get a job in the private sector and then we don't have anything to say, but when their salary is paid from my hard work and sweat, I want a president to act like one and not trying to screw anything that wears a skirt.
