Israel must continue with its self-defense and eliminate Hamas and its supporters.

Anyone who believes the numbers put out by Hamas is supporting Hamas,

Israel is in compliance with international law, and the civilian casualties have been kept to a minimum, and are a fraction of the fictitious numbers the terrorist group ministry publishes.

Besides, any civilian casualties in Gaza are the responsibility of Hamas.

The world should be outraged at all terrorist factions and their supporters in Gaza.

Or not!

I’ve lived there. Certainly that is not the case in its entirety at all.

You are pretty dense for believing it hook, line, and sinker.

Gaza’s Health Ministry said Friday that it has documented 20,057 deaths in the fighting and more than 50,000 wounded. It does not differentiate between combatant and civilian deaths.

Good reporting here. For some reason people on this site are convinced that all reported deaths are civilians

The military said late Thursday that it is sending more ground forces, including combat engineers, to Khan Younis to target Hamas militants above ground and in tunnels.

Israel has been flooding tunnels with seawater and murdering Palestinians and Israelis alike.

The Israeli actions have little to do with defense now and are just prolonging the conflict.

Do you have any evidence that the actions taken by Israel aren’t militarily significant?

Still less than Russia's war on Ukraine if we count the military dead, which we should.

...meh two wrongs does not make a right. Hamas/Iran are evil, no need to emulate them.

Netanyahu is the problem here, too focussed on Hamas, and not enough effort on hostages, or Palestinian civilians.

Even Israeli soldiers are afraid of engaging in urban warfare with Hamas terrorists.

If Netanyahu wanted to focus on the enemy, he should focus on Iran, but with Biden in control, I doubt Netanyahu is even allowed to name Iran.

Sad but Biden’s excuse of not allowing the conflict to proliferate has enabled Iran to proliferate the conflict to the entire world, now that Iran controls two of the most important shipping lanes in the world.

Hunger in Gaza is going to spread to many many more countries that rely on Gulf and Red Sea routes.

Silly comments fly in the face of reality.

Are women, the elderly and babies members of Hamas too. ?

Civilian death numbers are reported by respected international agencies, not just Hamas.

Most moral army in the world at it once again. New levels of depravity.

The fact that the U.S. didn't veto the latest U.N. resolution is very significant. The U.S. has a long history of vetoing any and all resolutions critical of Israel. Perhaps Netanyahu has finally found the limit of Israel's impunity.

The fact that the U.S. didn't veto the latest U.N. resolution is very significant.

Still only a tiny shift in sentiment. The latest resolution doesnt call for a lasting peace and thats all that really matters.

If Israel wants to finish Hamas as it claims!? it could target it's leadership with ease but it wont do so because the real target in NOT ONLY Hamas but the Palestinian population in Gaza so it can continue expanding and claim all of Palestine.

No mistake here as to what the real plan is, Yes Hamas did attack on Oct. the 7th. but this Israeli leadership took and used this opportunity to complete it's long term goals of claiming all of Palestine, Gaza first then the West Bank Next.

The fact that the U.S. didn't veto the latest U.N. resolution is very significant.

The below is more significant:

The United States won the removal of a tougher call for an “urgent suspension of hostilities” between Israel and Hamas.

The latest resolution doesnt call for a lasting peace and thats all that really matters.

Blame Hamas, like the rest of the civilized world.

Are women, the elderly and babies members of Hamas too. ?

Ask and blame Hamas.

Ok I blame Hamas. Now when can we have a lasting ceasefire?

When Israel, a sovereign country defending its people, decides it is a secure enough situation for its country.

The number of human lives extinguished is probably much higher (25,000+). The dead the world sees are civilians who have been pulled from under the rubble of their homes or found lying dead in destroyed hospitals, bombed schools, and refugee camps. Where are the bodies of all the thousands of Hamas fighters the Israeli governments crows it has killed? Unfortunately for Israel and the US, unlike other mass slaughters of civilians in conflicts in other parts of the world hidden from the eyes of the world, this extermination campaign in Gaza cannot be hidden since it is watched by the world in real time on Youtube and other platforms so the majority of us is not fooled by the clumsy, transparent Hamasplaining propaganda from Israeli officials and their trolls. Israel can get away with killing civilians on this scale with impunity only because it is fully greenlit by the US government which supplies the bulk of the weaponry.

And who was living there before Israel took it forcefully from them?

You have to be able to look at things objectively without automatically defending all behaviors.

I am against all the violence btw and not hoping for anything bad toward either nations.

The IDF are terrorist. This what truly happen on 07/10

Egyptians.

Not even 1/10th that.

Israel will receive retaliation

Israel has been attacked by 11 different countries since its establishment. That's why it needs to defend itself against this terrorism.

Perhaps ask why Hamas came into existence and why Hamas attacked Israel in the first place !

Antisemitism and intent to commit genocide.

Genocide is genocide. The US government won't support Israel anymore if the Senate and House grow spines. The EU will collapse. The Southern BRICs nations will annihilate Israel. Game End.

It takes a special sort of person to claim a regime that is in violation of the ICSPCA and the CPPCG is 'defending itself'. Think Barry Brodd, only worse.

Israel is defending itself against a terrorist regime that even set out in its charter its genocidal goals.

According to this article in the Huff Post, US State Dept are working behind the scenes to block any attempts to stop the fighting:

As bloodshed continues in Gaza, State Department officials are quietly working to stymie an attempt to spur global pressure to end the fighting there.

U.S. diplomats are finalizing a démarche ― a diplomatic initiative ― to their Swiss counterparts that Washington hopes will scuttle plans for a meeting to discuss violations of the Geneva Conventions in the current war between Israel and Hamas, the Gaza-based militant group, according to State Department documents seen by HuffPost.

The revelation comes as the U.S. is simultaneously slow-rolling the most high-profile international attempt to ease suffering in Gaza: a United Nations Security Council resolution that would drastically increase the flow of humanitarian aid into the besieged strip.

It's easy to assume the non-veto was Hegemon-style tatemae, while the genocide honne continues.

Netanyahu has been trying to get absolute authority in Israel. There has been protests during the past few years and he and his wife were convicted of graft by the Knesset. He launched two missile wars over the past 3 years as a diversionary action that backfired. He has NO concern for Israeli citizens any more tan he does for Gazans.

He is killing innocent people. Men, women, children - Gazan and Israeli. He's killing Muslims, Christians, Jews, all. And he's getting what he wants now.

No debate from me on that. Hamas, Hezbollah and the like are terrorist scum and trash, all. Israel has every right to exist and defend itself from these terrormonger fanatical enemies. But two wrongs don't make it right, nor do they make it even.

And killing 20000 Gazans is obscene. Most of the people there are not in Hamas nor do they support it.
