So anyone from those countries of origin should be prevented from entry to "balance the books." Until the books are balanced. No entries.

Similarly, young US citizens are the biggest group of overstayers in the UK.

I've never overstayed my visa. A long time ago someone I was with got their visa extended instead of overstaying... because they could. So once again this is the difference between legal and illegal. Quite simple folks. Obey the laws of the country you're in.

I completely agree that legal immigration from countries with a high number of visa violations should be curtailed until the line jumpers are caught and deported. 700,000 in one year! And this goes on year after year. It is a nonsensical and completely corrupted system. Add in those that cross by land and America is already an open borders nation for all practical purposes. Build the wall, fine employers, deport illegals regardless if they commit additional crimes, end chain migration, and bring order to the visa overstay problem.

Inconvenient truth about illegal abuse of US immigration. What happened to all the liberal leaning comments?
