The obvious solution to this carnage is to bump off the leaders and regimes that cause this. The idea that leaders and governments cannot be touched, whilst it is OK for millions to suffer as a result of their failure and brutality, has to be dispensed with.

That might be true, but does not apply to Ukraine. They have been fighting for their country like nothing we've seen in 80 years.

No. Russia is 4x the population and has been militarizing like no other major country. Even if Russia weren't completely in the wrong morally, Ukraine needs support for it to be a fair fight.
