Human Rights Minister Mahinda Samarasinghe denied the government was responsible and claimed health officials in the area were under pressure from the rebels to lie.

then forget everything and let Lankan army do its job and finish LTTE.

LTTE - the original explosive belt wearing suicide bombers. The problem with them won't go away until they go away. What can you do with people who find it morally justifiable to set off explosive belts in crowds of civilians?

If the LTTE actually cared about the innocents in the crossfire they would let them go, but instead they use them as human shields. That says all you really need to know.

"The problem with them won't go away until they go away."

This seems to be the case.

We all can see typical bulling LTTE tactics from Tamil Diaspora in the Western World now a day. Do these so-called liberators of Tamil Diaspora send their own sons and daughters to Sri Lankan war front? "Never". Those who are scarifying lives in the current battle front are from poor tamil farmers' sons and daughters. Liberation on sombodyelse's life. Not a bad technique for seperate Peelam State.

This is the kind of thing that happens when you pack fighters in close proximity with civilians. It is exactly what the LTTE wants, too. The civilians are the only thing that stand between the LTTE and total defeat.

More 'freedom fighters' at work killing civilians.

I agree with you totally & it is good to see a number of others posters on this thread for a change. Granted if we were to change Tamil to Hamas it would be a different story. Perhaps that’s also why we never get to see Sabi commenting on what’s happening with Sri Lanka.
