I rarely comment on U.S. politics-related stories on JT.

But, I am reminded of Ronald Reagan's saying:

Trust but verify.

Many will mock Fox News for being Faux News....

But then will turn around and believe unsubstantiated stories from, say, Buzzfeed because they want them to be true.

At this point, everyone and every "news" organizations have an agenda, a bias, a view. Unless they are merely news aggregators.

I believe in healthy skepticism, not just seeking that which validates one's own views,

But that is just me.

BuzzFeed, citing two unidentified law enforcement officials, reported that Trump directed Michael Cohen to lie to Congress about a Moscow real estate project and that Cohen told Mueller the president personally instructed him to lie about the timing of the deal. The report said Mueller's investigators learned about Trump's directive "through interviews with multiple witnesses from the Trump Organization and internal company emails, text messages, and a cache of other documents."

Trumpers better hope something is off here because if it's true, even Republican talking heads on Faux News are saying he'll be impeached...

But think about it - Don Jr, Jared, and Manafort meet with Russians at Trump Tower. When that comes out, Daddy helps dictate a false memo that said the meeting was about adoptions. Then we find out that it was about getting dirt on Hillary.

He's a serial liar and this exactly something he would do...

7 ( +8 / -1 )

No it couid not be like that. Description and characterization: not accurate.

I’m not sure what you mean here. Please clarify this.

Too many people are eager to call out lies from the other side but then twist themselves into ridiculous contortions to avoid calling out lies from their own side.

In an era with a compulsive liar as president, compulsive liars like Cohen now attacking him and a partisan media, being honest about who tells lies and calling them out is very important.

6 ( +7 / -1 )

This is exactly why the Mueller report must be made available to the public in it's entirety.

6 ( +7 / -1 )

The one thing that emerges from all of this is that Mueller is a totally honest guy down to the last detail. That is likely why he never lost a case.

5 ( +6 / -1 )

BuzzFeed's description of specific statements to the special counsel's office, and characterization of documents and testimony obtained by this office, regarding Michael Cohen's congressional testimony are not accurate.

You've gotta be able to understand legalese. That a description of specific statements tends to indicate that statements were made, and characterization of documents being not accurate indicates documents were obtained. In other words, Mueller's statement strengthens the idea that Trump suborned the perjury that Cohen has already pleaded to and been sentenced to three years for - it simply did not occur in the precise way reported.

Suborning perjury is a felony punishable by up to five years. But more important, I think, is that, as Mueller hinted above, such evidence exists, it would strengthen a case of obstruction of justice. This requires evidence of intent, which appears to be in hand now, and this evidence of intent to obstruct justice will cause jurors to view Trump's firing of Comey in a more certain light.

4 ( +6 / -2 )

Guy on tv now saying “not accurate” doesn’t necessarily mean “false”.

You’ve been telling us for a long time that Trump engages in ‘exaggeration’ and ‘hyperbole’ rather than lies.

Could it be like that?

3 ( +6 / -3 )

I never said there was no collusion between the campaign or between people in the campaign. ... I have not. I said the President of the United States.

That was Trump's personal lawyer, backtracking. Notice how he left himself an out: "I said the President of the United States." That could mean candidate Trump colluded.

When your own lawyer scrambles to protect his backside, you know you're in trouble.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

blacklabel: SO to the actual topic you are trying to distract from....Has buzzfeed retracted their article?

No distraction. I clearly made my thoughts known in my first post. You are free to comment on that if you'd like.

After I did that, I took exception to your post. Things like this come down to credibility, and you don't have the standing to criticize others. You've come here and spread stories you know have been retracted. I'm not going to consider your judgement of others on this issue worth much of anything.

The other point was about consequences. BuzzFeed is going to pay a hefty price for their mistake depending on the severity of it. Trump will pay no price at all. In fact, it's so common with the guy that it will probably slip under the radar that he spread an unverified story to provoke fear of Muslims. Just another day.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

In my opinion this fake news story

Then Mueller is a good truthful person and Trump voters should like him

was funded by Hillary’s campaign.

When is Trump going to go after Hillary like he promised. Trump voters keep complaining about Hillary but they are OK with Trump not having Hillary incarcerated like he promised. I understand LOCK HER UP. But it is just talk until it actually happens.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

black: I say the testimony of a convicted liar gets thrown out. All of it.

LOL sure....let's throw out the testimony from Paige, Manafort, Flynn, Cohen, Don Jr., and Trump himself? "Your Honor, seeing as everyone in the Trump circle, including Trump himself, are proven liars, we can't use any of the evidence from any of them and all of them should go free."

Wow, they said Muellers denial aims to make clear that none of the story is accurate.

Nice of Mueller to do that, huh? He has such a busy schedule of forcing Trump's people to make up stories all day yet he cleared some time to correct an inaccurate story about Trump. Seems for you that that would be completely out of character for him, right?

3 ( +5 / -2 )

Collusion is not necessarily a crime or an impeachable offense.

Are you okay with collusion?

2 ( +5 / -3 )

Burning Bush, Mueller's work has no relation with whatever personal feelings he may harbor towards Trump, a common misconception Mueller critics have. His job is to uncover the truth, document it, and deliver a report - to the executive branch, at that.

This is not a game. This is not partisanship. This is simply documenting reality. Many will soon learn that difference.

2 ( +4 / -2 )

Just another example to show that Mueller is an ethical man, and not the demon that Trump is trying to make him out be.

2 ( +4 / -2 )

“Can you imagine any president of the United States being dumb enough to say to somebody, ‘I’d like you to go over now and lie to Congress?'"

Prior to November 6, 2016, absolutely not.

2 ( +5 / -3 )

In the other thread when the story first came out I said, "Let's see the evidence." When you rush to believe something and use it to criticize the other side you do damage to yourself by not being more thorough. Stories that get this big will usually end up being mostly confirmed or discredited in a short amount of time so you have to be patient.

If it turns out that their story is completely false then BuzzFeed is going to take a massive hit to their credibility, one that might take years to recover from. There will be consequences for their mistake, and there will be damage to our side.

In other news today, Trump tweeted about a story from the Washington Examiner about Muslim prayer rugs being found on the southern border. The source? A single, anonymous rancher who said she hadn't actually seen any Muslims and didn't have any evidence of the rugs. That gets reported, then retweeted to the world by Trump.

Consequences? Nope.

2 ( +4 / -2 )

blacklabel: Bwaaaaaahahahaha let it go. Not a “mistake” just more intentional fake news.

Was the Seth Rich retraction a mistake or fake news? And surely by now you no longer believe that story...right?

2 ( +4 / -2 )

I say the testimony of a convicted liar gets thrown out. All of it. But liberals want to keep the things Cohen is saying to try to reduce his sentence, cause you like to hear those.

Luckily Mueller isnt a liar according to liberals. He actually cant lie because at some point he is going to have to prepare a report with evidence. Like emails and documents and tapes and things. You know, the stuff Buzzfeed says Mueller has, that Mueller says he doesnt.

Man, Cohen supposedly has sooooo many tapes and incriminating documents. But all the important stuff, nada. Saturday night, Trump economy, party time. Distract away, Im sure in 2 days the liberal media will pretend this never even happened.

I can't wait to hear what you have to say when Mueller produces a tape recording of Trump instructing Cohen to lie before Congress.

Remember, we knew about this in Nov when Trump was named as "Individual -1"...

2 ( +3 / -1 )

See trump voters? Mueller is honest. He is a not an enemy of Trump. Why keep trashing Mueller?

Mueller is a liar

That would be a crime.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

Mueller hasn't yet clarified which part, or parts, not accurate

Maybe it didn't happen, or maybe it did happen but not the way it was described

We'll see if he says more about it

2 ( +3 / -1 )

Then Mueller is telling the truth

Mueller is a liar

Which is it? Please be consistent

Almost like Mueller knew liberals

I thought Mueller was the Liberal since....

Mueller is a liar

2 ( +3 / -1 )

Oh, lincoln... you're going to be sooooo disappointed when you finally realize that recording does not exist.

The actual existence of a tape doesn’t matter to Trump supporters. He instructed his followers to check out a sex tape which doesn’t exist and they didn’t complain. Even Hannity, Carlson, Ingraham and hairy, disheveled nutters in basements couldn’t track it down.

Cut a bit of slack here.

2 ( +5 / -3 )

Somebody in law enforcement jumped the shark, and forced Mueller's hand - my bet is that he had to weigh in unwillingly to protect some aspect of his investigation of Russian collusion during the campaign.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

The statement “Trump told Cohen to lie” when found not to be not accurate = lie.

OK, let me correct it for you:

"Cohen claims that Trump told Cohen to lie".

Now a true statement.

The underlying claim might be true, but we probably have no way of finding out.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Collusion is not necessarily a crime or an impeachable offense.

Correct. But it is always immoral and dishonest.

1 ( +3 / -2 )

here come prayer rugs and Seth Rich to distract.

It was clearly not a distraction; it was pointing out your hypocrisy.

1 ( +3 / -2 )

I actually said both, thus the word -and-. You just dont care to listen cause you have your fingers in your ears whenever someone tries to tell you that (a) Trump didnt do it and (b) even IF he did, which he didnt, its not a crime. So it doesnt matter either way.

You say there was no collusion and it isn't a crime now. As I clearly stated, you guys were screeching no collusion right up until you added the collusion is not a crime. Again, if you were truly certain there was no collusion, you wouldn't be screeching about it not being a crime.

1 ( +3 / -2 )

I have no hypocrisy. I believe Mueller is telling the truth about the Buzzfeed article.

So, he tells the truth about things you want to hear but lies when it's things you don't. That's hypocrisy.

As liberals say with Cohen he can be a liar and yet still tell the truth on some matters. This is your entire position every time Cohen says something you desperately wish would be true. Thatshypocrisy

You haven't been understand what we've been saying. We have said that if Cohen's testimony is corroborated, it's as good as gold.

1 ( +3 / -2 )

I say the testimony of a convicted liar gets thrown out. All of it.

Good thing you don't determine the rules of evidence. Liberals are after the truth, you guys are after not letting Trump be impeded.

Luckily Mueller isnt a liar according to liberals. He actually cant lie because at some point he is going to have to prepare a report with evidence. Like emails and documents and tapes and things. You know, the stuff Buzzfeed says Mueller has, that Mueller says he doesnt.

Mueller didn't say he doesn't have evidence. Where did you get that gem?

1 ( +3 / -2 )

From the Buzzfeed article that says there is evidence, but that Mueller called not accurate. nothing about the article is accurate, said Mueller.

No, that's not what Mueller said. Re-read the article.

1 ( +3 / -2 )

*The statement by Mueller's office on Friday night doesn't cite any specific errors. In it, the special counsel's spokesman, Peter Carr, said, "BuzzFeed's description of specific statements to the special counsel's office, and characterization of documents and testimony obtained by this office, regarding Michael Cohen's congressional testimony are not accurate."*

Look! Nowhere does it say that Mueller has no evidence. It doesn't even say that Mueller doesn't have the evidence Buzzfeed claims; it simply says Buzzfeed's characterizations and descriptions and descriptions aren't accurate. Funny how you desperate conservatibes ran with that.

Not sure why I'm wasting my breath trying to present facts and logic to Trump supporters; they've demonstrated over the past three years (campaign included) that they are immune to facts and logic. ROFL! Smh. Lol! Oh my . . . Building 7. Kudos! Unicornverse. HAR!

1 ( +3 / -2 )

Soooo, Let me get this straight.... Because BuzzFeed reports an inaccurate story it proves  that Trump is innocent.....Right?  And therefore all other facts and obvious illegal activities the President has engaged in are either fake news or simply not true... correct? Further more, any future findings by the Special Counsel is  simply not true no matter how damning the evidence.  Hmmm.... think about it.  You even use his words like fake news, No collusion, Deep State, etc...  Well I guess it all makes sense, now. Jim Jones had his followers and Hitler conned an entire country....  But I would have thought Americans were way beyond this. The guy has been lying since he started the campaign to now. Caught on tape many times out right lying to the American people. His behavior towards a country that has brazenly interfered with our election is down right suspicious.  And yet he is your guy....  It defies logic.

1 ( +5 / -4 )

Black: Nice use of an anonymous source to back up your assertions. You conservatives lack consistency. One moment you are railing on Mueller for being biased (when he's not helping Trump, the next moment you are slobbering all over him. In one breath you rail on WaPo for being biased and using anonymous sources, the next momentbyou are slobbering all over WaPo.

It's really difficult to understand what you guys find credible given you change with the direction of the wind. Actually, that's not true. It's extremely easy to know what you guys find credible: any statement that helps Trump, no matter the source.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

In my opinion this fake news story claiming Trump obstructed justice by telling Cohen to lie to Congress was put out to divert attention from a more credible and damaging story from the day before

Absolutely. George Soros had the Deep State rally the biased, liberal MSM to bury the Ohr story. Everyone knows this conspiracy theory I 100% accurate. Yoinks.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

There’s very likely something in the article that is fundamentally incorrect. The Mueller investigation is extremely tight lipped, so the fact that they said something at all, speaks volumes in and of itself.

As such, for now at least, the article should be dismissed. We can’t know which parts are incorrect, so they may as well all be incorrect.

By that same argument however, we also can’t know which parts were correct, and they may all be correct with the exception of a single point. So the idea that this disproves everything asserted in the article is also an error in logic.

The only thing both sides can (logically) do is dismiss the article altogether as if it didn’t exist. But the hyper partisans on both sides won’t.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Collusion is not necessarily a crime or an impeachable offense.

I thought there was no collusion. You guys keep hedging your bets; its side-splittingly hilarious.

0 ( +3 / -3 )

It's funnier than a rubber crutch that posters who constantly disparage Mueller and his investigation now believe him because he kind of contradicted Buzzfeed.

0 ( +3 / -3 )

"kind of" contradicted? According to Washington Post Muellers statement was clear that NOTHING in that Buzzfeed report was accurate. As I said, Mueller is no hero, he had no choice but to direct this one because the article seemed to implicate his own team in the leaking.

and the collusion statement is easy. Collusion is not a crime -AND- there was no collusion between Trump and Russia. Both things can be independently true.

0 ( +3 / -3 )

So, Mieller has enough integrity to be believed when it helps your side, but that's the only time. Right. Got it.

You guys were screaming there was no collusion right up until you started screaming that collusion is not a crime. If there was no collusion, you wouldn't need to scream that it's not a crime. Sure smells like hedging your bets.

0 ( +3 / -3 )

According to Washington Post

I thought WaPo lacked credibility. You sure are you trying to have your cake and eat it too.

See what happens when you constantly disparage every source and institution that is t for Trump? When those sources or institutions say something that is beneficial for Trump, you guys look utterly idiotic citing those sources and institutions.

0 ( +3 / -3 )

Im just using the sources you believe when you make attacks. You wont accept mine, so listen to yours.

You've got me confused with someone else.

You guys told me Mueller is a great honorable guy. so I believe him when he makes a statement saying the Buzzfeed story is nonsense

He is honorable and I believe this statement. I'm calling out your reeking hypocrisy.

0 ( +3 / -3 )

It just shows the total futility of your position. You have spent 2+ years and 50 million dollars trying to prove someone is a criminal. Even if you prove he did what you say, which you havent been able to do, it isnt a crime and you are back to square one. How futile is this?

You arent trying to prove Trump colluded. you are trying to prove criminal activity that can lead to jail and his impeachment. Shouldnt you at least start that process by trying to prove something that is a criminal offense?

0 ( +3 / -3 )

I have no hypocrisy. I believe Mueller is telling the truth about the Buzzfeed article.

As liberals say with Cohen he can be a liar and yet still tell the truth on some matters. This is your entire position every time Cohen says something you desperately wish would be true. Thats hypocrisy

0 ( +3 / -3 )

t just shows the total futility of your position. You have spent 2+ years and 50 million dollars trying to prove someone is a criminal. Even if you prove he did what you say, which you havent been able to do, it isnt a crime and you are back to square one. How futile is this?

First, nobody knows what Mueller has, so you're continuing to prematurely claim nothing has been found. Second, your assuming that just because collusion isn't a crime that there were no crimes involved.

How can you guys have so much faith in Trump given he lies on an hourly basis?

0 ( +3 / -3 )

didnt know your "people familiar with the matter" (who are perfectly fine with you as anonymous sources for Trump attacks) had been talking to WaPo, did you? Wow, they said Muellers denial aims to make clear that none of the story is accurate. Almost like Mueller knew liberals would try to twist his words around.

0 ( +3 / -3 )

$100millions spent of this Russian collusion investigation and all they got is this shady lawyer laundring money through his taxi company.

100s million, pleease its cost about 17million so far. FBI has confiscated five multi-million-dollar properties, a life-insurance policy, and the contents of multiple bank accounts Mueller’s investigation had acquired somewhere between $26 million and $42 million worth of revenue for the federal treasury. and has actually made a profit for the US taxpayer. FACT , yet people still like spreading FAKE NEWS

http://nymag.com/intelligencer/2018/11/trump-tweet-mueller-probe-usd40-million-fact-check-paul-manafort.html

0 ( +1 / -1 )

When you have Mueller’s office coming out which it very seldom seems does and debunks a fake story like this, you know it’s deadly serious.

Youre just like Blacklabel, you trust Mueller when he appears to be helping Donny. It's too funny. Why would the biased witch hunter be trustworthy on this point?

Ahem, stop dancing, you guys keep saying, Mueller always speaks the truth and we should believe whatever he says, well, we are doing just that, so according to liberals, he debunking the story shows what an unreliable source Buzzfeed is and what liars they have always been known to be.

And you guys keep saying Mueller is biased and can't be trusted. Which is it?

0 ( +1 / -1 )

The one thing that emerges from all of this is that Mueller is a totally honest guy down to the last detail.

This does not prove Mueller to be honest. When Rosenstein is replaced and Barr digs in to find out what Mueller has been up to Mueller will have a lot to answer for. That's why he refuted the BuzzFeed nonsense report. He knew it's false so he had to get ahead of the story. Mueller is shitting in his pants because he is about to be reigned in. No wonder why the liberals on the Senate Judiciary Committee kept looking for assurances that Barr recuse himself from the investigation.

When is Trump going to go after Hillary like he promised

He didn't have an AG for the first 2 years.

0 ( +1 / -1 )

You believe Trump.

Trump is not looking at years in prison, he’s not worried about losing anything, he didn’t lie to Congress or perjured himself in any possible way, Cohen did and a man like that wouldn’t last in prison and the man also has a family he desperately wants to be with, so for some people they’ll do what it takes to make that happen, anything.

0 ( +1 / -1 )

Chip Star - So, Mieller has enough integrity to be believed when it helps your side, but that's the only time. Right. Got it.

You guys were screaming there was no collusion right up until you started screaming that collusion is not a crime.

Democrats claimed collusion AND they claimed that such collusion was a crime. Unfortunately for the Democrats peace of mind, there is no evidence to prove either claim. It appears that the Democrats have been left howling in rage at the wind.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

here come prayer rugs and Seth Rich to distract. Why is it that when liberals mention fake news, I have 50 examples, multiple retractions, people getting fired, and all you have is this one?

So: We dont know, as the killer of Seth Rich has yet to be found. "ongoing investigation".

And: people from 41 countries, including Muslim majority countries have been apprehended at our border. Liberal media publishes things every day with anonymous sources and no proof. It "could have" happened, you cant prove it didnt, liberals say. So I say the same, its possible something happened like that.

SO to the actual topic you are trying to distract from....Has buzzfeed retracted their article?

no, in fact they still claim its 100% solid.

-1 ( +3 / -4 )

I actually said both, thus the word -and-. You just dont care to listen cause you have your fingers in your ears whenever someone tries to tell you that (a) Trump didnt do it and (b) even IF he did, which he didnt, its not a crime. So it doesnt matter either way.

In the words of the immortal truth teller Peter Strzok, "theres no there there".

-1 ( +3 / -4 )

Im just using the sources you believe when you make attacks. You wont accept mine, so listen to yours.

Is WaPo lying to you when it helps Trump but not when its attacking him? You guys told me Mueller is a great honorable guy. so I believe him when he makes a statement saying the Buzzfeed story is nonsense. he NEVER does something like that, right? Yet he felt this time he had to, why? Or are you telling me you think he is lying to me now?

How it is my hypocrisy about Seth Rich and prayer rugs. I didnt report those.

I thought WaPo lacked credibility. You sure are you trying to have your cake and eat it too.

-1 ( +3 / -4 )

Oh like CNN and the liberal media has paid a price for all their last 2 years of fake news? They talked about this topic all day long, impeachment mentioned over 200 times on TV.

Then when its fake its "oh we didnt report it or believe it we just talking about what Buzzfeed said. WE said "if its true" so we have no responsibility here, moving on" back to Russia, Russia, Russia.

BuzzFeed is going to pay a hefty price for their mistake depending on the severity of it.

-1 ( +3 / -4 )

From the Buzzfeed article that says there is evidence, but that Mueller called not accurate. nothing about the article is accurate, said Mueller.

What would would I have to say when Mueller plays a tape of Trump telling Cohen to lie? I would say wow, Mueller is a liar because his statement says the article which says he did have it isnt accurate.

Mueller didn't say he doesn't have evidence. Where did you get that gem?

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

Then Mueller is telling the truth, the article is fake, the authors are liars, the liberal media spent all day falsely smearing Trump, lil Adam Schiff got all excited over nothing and Trump did nothing wrong. Great!

Reminder below of what was in the article that Mueller had to release a statement to say was "not accurate".

So you mean to tell me that these emails, texts and other documents DO exist and that Cohen acknowledged all this to Mueller? Then Mueller would have confirmed the article as true or said nothing, no?

The special counsel’s office learned about Trump’s directive for Cohen to lie to Congress through interviews with multiple witnesses from the Trump Organization and internal company emails, text messages, and a cache of other documents. Cohen then acknowledged those instructions during his interviews with that office.

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

Nice deflection. But....WaPo got your back.

From their article titled "In a rare move, Mueller’s office denies BuzzFeed report that Trump told Cohen to lie about Moscow project"

"The story had claimed Cohen had acknowledged to Mueller’s prosecutors that the president directed him to deceive Congress about key facts linking the president to the proposed Trump Tower project in Moscow. BuzzFeed also said Mueller learned about the directive to lie from “interviews with multiple witnesses from the Trump Organization and internal company emails, text messages, and a cache of other documents.”

Mueller’s denial, according to people familiar with the matter, aims to make clear that none of those statements in the story are accurate."

NONE. so no interviews with multiple witnesses, no internal emails, not text, no cache of documents. No learning about the directive to lie occurred whatsoever.

Sorry.

-1 ( +3 / -4 )

In my opinion this fake news story claiming Trump obstructed justice by telling Cohen to lie to Congress was put out to divert attention from a more credible and damaging story from the day before. That story involved Bruce Ohr. The number 4 guy at the FBI. Ohr passed on information from Christopher Steele, the fake dossier author, telling Strozk and company that Steele was out to get Trump and that the dossier was funded by Hillary’s campaign.

These important details are said to have been left out of the FISA document that was used to initiate all of this. In short, the #resistance in the FBI whose private communications revealed that they also help personal animus towards Trump, were withholding exculpatory information. That is “supposed” to be a big no-no with the FISA court.

-1 ( +3 / -4 )

If it turns out that their story is completely false then BuzzFeed is going to take a massive hit to their credibility, one that might take years to recover from. There will be consequences for their mistake, and there will be damage to our side.

If? No, Buzzfeed already has no credibility, haven’t from the start.

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

And you guys keep saying Mueller is biased and can't be trusted. Which is it?

Judging the media and liberal meltdown as well as some on JT it would seem they’re skeptical of Mueller’s office coming out and debunking the story.

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

The leaks came from Mueller's team and if the story is true it would have led to to a leak investigation by the Justice Department. So the best they could do it let CNN and other liberal media scream "IF true...blah blah...impeach...blah blah" hundreds of times all day long until they decided to release their statement at 7:30 on a Friday night. Mueller is no hero in this, he had to announce it to avoid the leak investigation.

-2 ( +2 / -4 )

The US MSM is shamefully biased and obviously unprofessional.

What a joke.

Thanks Mueller for getting Trump's back.

-2 ( +2 / -4 )

Are you okay with collusion?

No, I’m also not ok with witch hunts.

-2 ( +3 / -5 )

I say the testimony of a convicted liar gets thrown out. All of it. But liberals want to keep the things Cohen is saying to try to reduce his sentence, cause you like to hear those.

Luckily Mueller isnt a liar according to liberals. He actually cant lie because at some point he is going to have to prepare a report with evidence. Like emails and documents and tapes and things. You know, the stuff Buzzfeed says Mueller has, that Mueller says he doesnt.

Oh, lincoln... you're going to be sooooo disappointed when you finally realize that recording does not exist.

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

The statement by Mueller's office on Friday night doesn't cite any specific errors. -2 ( +1 / -3 )

Mueller's statement strengthens the idea that Trump suborned the perjury that Cohen has already pleaded to and been sentenced to three years for - it simply did not occur in the precise way reported.

Sorry, Buzzfeed got caught, slam and dunk. Thank God there was clarification for this, now I hope everyone including Mueller will take take what Cohen says now on.

And then what?

-3 ( +2 / -5 )

I’m growing a long beard. What’s taking Mueller so long?? You just know there was no collusion.

Just something drummed up because the democrats embarrassingly lost the election. Ohh that was hilarious watching them jaws drop when all the major news networks announced Trump won.

When your own lawyer scrambles to protect his backside, you know you're in trouble.

Collusion is not necessarily a crime or an impeachable offense.

Mueller, BuzzFeed, Trump, Cohen, etc., etc., etc... ...Trash, trash, trash, and more trash... What a nice way to distract the billions of naive fools from really important priorities.

Tons and tons of useless politicians. I don't hear anything smart from anyone. The highest paid in a company makes on average 250 times more than the lowest paid! That is pure slavery. This ratio should be no more than 10 to have a fair distribution of earned funds. We need ASAP to enact laws that limit this ratio to maximum 10. That is our TOP PRIORITY! GET RID OF USELESS POLITICIANS! ELECT SMART LEGISLATORS THAT UNDERSTAND VERY WELL OUR PRIORITIES!

Does this mean the witch hunt, er, investigation goes on?

Does anyone actually carry a pillow down the street like that?

Guy on tv now saying “not accurate” doesn’t necessarily mean “false”.

Bwaaaaaahahahaha let it go. Not a “mistake” just more intentional fake news.

Exaggeration and hyperbole is calling a cold day “the coldest day in the history of the world” without knowing it to be true or having any way to even try to prove it.

The statement “Trump told Cohen to lie” when found not to be not accurate = lie.

Actually agree with crazy Joe. It's been over 2 years now and $100millions spent of this Russian collusion investigation and all they got is this shady lawyer laundring money through his taxi company. Cohen is just Mueller's bitch at the moment. You saw his tweet? "Blind loyalty" sounds like a 8 year apologizing to his mom, hoping that the grounding won't be as bad.

Total waste of tax payer money and people's time. Frankly I'm tired of all these media places saying "it's just around the corner... Mueller's coming or ...Trump's gonna drop the hammer..." But I guess people like being loaded on because it's never ending.

Jusg release the report already!

Buzzfeed is fake news. Another example of why the majority of Americans have justifiably lost trust in the media.

-4 ( +2 / -6 )

Oh so now because Mueller has to come out and deny an obviously fake story he’s on “my side” now? Nope he’s still your guy.

I have never gleefully thought “Mueller’s coming”, he’s all yours. This story was soooo fake and implicated his team in leaking so he has a responsibility to refute it when he knows it’s not accurate. Otherwise show credibility is damaged beyond repair.

Unfortunately all this will do is let liberals say any story he doesn’t make a statement about must be true. Even though last year he said many of the stories are untrue and he wouldn’t be reacting to every story even if it’s inaccurate.

yet another reason he needs to finish up. Otherwise new fake stories everyday to open more Dem investigations until he does.

So Mueller is a liar and it’s actually true?

Somebody in law enforcement jumped the shark, and forced Mueller's hand - my bet is that he had to weigh in unwillingly to protect some aspect of his investigation of Russian collusion during the campaig

-5 ( +2 / -7 )

No it couid not be like that. Description and characterization: not accurate.

-7 ( +1 / -8 )

uh no not what Mueller said. You know, your great hope? The guy who is “coming” to remove Trump cause you can’t win an election against him. He says “nope”.

-7 ( +2 / -9 )

Uh oh. Buzzfeed lied using anonymous sources and even #resistance member Robert Mueller and his 12 Democrat party prosecutors felt the need to shoot it down. Hard to criticize Trumps attacks on the media's Fake News narrative when they repeatedly put out "walls closing-in" stories that turn out to be false.
