There seems to be a blanket on the news in the west, so I had to go to a foreign news source (hint, between Q and S) to try to find out more. All I could pick up there were some video slips, and the suggestion that Seals who was probably undercover was shot in the back of the head, and that the two assailants were dressed in black. The rumour that the perps were a man and a woman was also mentioned.

It now appears that the targets of the shootings were Jews. Any guesses who the perps are? If it was right-wing militia, it would already be on the front pages and all the networks as the lead story. But, nothing. So, lemme guess, who else hates Jews?

Maybe they holed up in a kosher store coz they knew there was food for a long siege. Somehow reminds me of Paris a year or two back. Hmmm... Hoping the owner's wife was not one of those caught in the 'crossfire'.

Hervé,

the RIGHT TO BEAR FIREARMS was earned by the Patriots who fought for independence from the dastardly British King.

Sure. In order that they could be part of a well-regulated militia (in lieu of a standing army) acting in the interests of the security of a free state. An individual’s right to bear arms wasn’t granted until 2008.

The gun-grabbers ignore the reality that criminals DO NOT OBEY LAWS, and the RIGHT TO BEAR FIREARMS was earned by the Patriots who fought for independence from the dastardly British King.

The brave police officer who tragically lost his life at the hands of these scum criminals worked hard to remove guns from criminals. He fought the good fight. Yes, some cops are corrupt, but by and large they are heroic individuals who deserve to be respected. Even in New Jersey.

bass,

Probably true, but not really my point. Although that 2008 decision was 5-4 so...

The chances and probability of that happening is like saying, lighting will strike all House Democrats simultaneously.

Okay. Anything to actually add to the conversation?

They don't have to. They just need to swing the Supreme Court's interpretation of it back to the way it was before 2008 when the NRA/conservative dominated court ignored all precedents and rulings regarding it, which had held that a person's right to own a gun was only in service to a a well-regulated militia. (And no, that's not a bunch of rednecks in the hills playing war with their ARs)

they wouldn’t dare touch the 2nd amendment

Liberals aren’t THAT politically suicidal....or are they?

I dunno. Ask a liberal, or make it up as you go along. The usual modus operandi.

4 ( +6 / -2 )

I disagree. Even the Democrats with all their boasting and talk, they wouldn’t dare touch the 2nd amendment or stand in the way of gun law abiding citizens. Liberals aren’t THAT politically suicidal....or are they?

No democrat is talking about touching the 2nd Amendment.

No citizens should have the right to firearms. It should be a criminal offence to own these lethal weapons.

Wayne LaPierre, are you giggling again? Does this make you happy?

What? LaPierre has nothing to do with it.

Dollars to doughnuts these shooters were career criminals who were already prohibited from firearms possession, in possession of illegally obtained (possibly prohibited) firearms and who being pursued for criminal activity.

But enough about the cops.

They were NOT LAW-ABIDING citizens who have the RIGHT to firearms.

Another day for you and me in Paradise. Wayne LaPierre, are you giggling again? Does this make you happy?

There is something different about this one...

Yes, New Jersey has strict firearms control laws.

No, New Jersey is not an island.

Yes, firearms flow into New Jersey from all over the US; just like firearms flow into Mexico for the cartels.

Another day, another gun violence in America.

3 ( +9 / -6 )

No excuse to have a shooting so close to a school.

2 ( +6 / -4 )

Too many guns.

Too many madmen.

Get a grip, people. Act like civilized human beings.

A 'good guy with a gun' should be able to handle this situation.

Oh, wait...
