Nothing new except maybe the amount on the price tag. America has always had the best politicians money can buy.

Elon Musk spent over a quarter of a billion dollars to help Donald Trump win November's presidential election, according to new filings, underscoring the influence one of the world's wealthiest people had on this year's White House race.

It is almost textbook corporate oligarchy, or to use another individual's definition.

Citizens United was one of the dumbest and most destructive SCOTUS decisions ever.

Oligarchs United!

So this is the "democracy" the West keeps pushing on the world.

Hmm…

Citizens United was one of the dumbest and most destructive SCOTUS decisions ever.

For you perhaps, I’m good.

Oligarchs United!

And Soros spent about roughly the same amount to beat Trump, he spent a few million alone trying to oust Ted Cruz.

Well, you can’t be poor if you want to make it in politics.

I’m good.

Do you believe that the wealthiest people deserve an outsized influence on politics?

I don’t. That includes influence from the left.

And then Trump just appointed Soros' billinaire long time money manager as Treasury Secretary.

Trump is maximizing the oligarchy but that does not mean it stops at the GOP.

Guess who really wants corporate money out of politics.

Well, the left started it, they couldn’t run on their failed policies so they needed big donors, Super PACs and billionaires try and get them over the finish line. The playing field needed to be leveled out.

And Trump has made mistakes as well, Pence and John Bolton were a few

Citizens United is a conservative group whose leadership is allied with Trump.

Citizens United is a conservative group whose leadership is allied with Trump.

Which has nothing to do with the left starting their warfare with Trump.

I also gave you an answer.

The playing field needed to be leveled out.

The playing field needed to be leveled out.

That’s not what Citizens United was about.

There’s too much money in politics, regardless of “the playing field” being left or right. That’s my position. I’ve been consistent on that.

I didn’t disagree with you, but my point is, the left were the ones that tried in vain for almost 10 years to do whatever could to dirty up and smear this guy, and all the money didn’t help them win in the end. Sadly, money will always be involved in politics.
